Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Receive/prepare material requisitions as per need;
∎ Prepare cash requisition for purchasing goods with cash in accordance with materials requisition;
∎ Purchase all kind of materials in accordance with approved requisition;
∎ Collect quotations, compile & verify necessary documentations and select vendor under the guidance of senior management;
∎ Ensure best value purchase verifying the market rate and product quality;
∎ Ensure quality of purchased goods and its compliance with requirement specifications and make sure that the goods are delivered to concerning department/person in time.
∎ Submit all bills timely to accounts section after the completion of any purchase;
∎ Oversee repairing works and ensure supply of materials as per need;
∎ Carry-out all necessary market dealings and ensure maximum utilization of resources.
∎ Prepare and submit activity report to line management as per need.
∎ Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor or higher authority;
∎ CSS, a renowned national non-governmental organization in Bangladesh, has been serving the needs of underprivileged and marginalized communities since 1972. In response to the growing need for technical education, CSS established the Hope Technical Institute. Currently, we are looking for an experienced and qualified Purchase Officer who will be responsible for all purchasing & procurement activities of these programs.
∎ Job Responsibilities:

∎ After being permanent upon successful completion of probation period (six months), other benefits will be provided as per the organizational policy i.e. provident fund, gratuity, festival bonus, yearly increment, staff insurance (kormi Bima), medical allowance (Kormi Sohayota Tohobil) etc.
