Educational Requirements:
∎ Candidate should be Master in Social Science preference will be given on Psychology & Philosophy having 3/5 years experiences in this field with INGO/NGO/Govt.

Job Context:
∎ Currently Bangladesh Red Crescent Society is looking for suitable Bangladeshi national for the following position under Population Movement Operation (PMO), Cox`s Bazar:
∎ Duration of contract : Initially upto 31.12.2021 (with possibility of extension).
∎ Organizational Unit/Department :
∎ Disaster Response department (PMO).
∎ Reporting line : Project Manager, PMO.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To provide the PSS support to the displaced people of Myanmar.
∎ Organize and conduct session on PSS with the children/adolescent girls/women and mentally stressed people.
∎ Establish effective Coordination with internal and external stakeholders working in the field of Psychosocial Support areas for the displaced Rakhaine Population.
∎ Organize training on PSS and prepare training Schedule, questionnaire, evaluation documents as per need of the Operation.
∎ Communicate all concerned organization working on PSS in the Population Movement Operation.
∎ Provide support to accomplish day to day office activities by maintaining updated records.
∎ To perform any other assignment/task as and when given by the PMO. Participation in dissemination of R.C. Principle, Emblem issue and able to carry out such other activities as desire by the authority of the PMO.
∎ Performing Following package activities on Psychosocial Support areas:
∎ Identify PSS needs of the influx population and as well as host community.
∎ Classify sub groups as per need.
∎ Design interventions and implementation of PSS activities.
∎ Recruit and train community volunteers (from influx and host people).
∎ Keep link with government and non-governmental organizations relating to PSS activities.
∎ Establish friendly space for child / adolescent / women / men /disable group.
∎ Identify severe cases of mental trauma and ensure referral services.
∎ Arrange sensitizing workshop among host community.
∎ Provide PFA to new influx.
∎ Ensure monitoring and reporting on PSS intervention.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Priority will be given to candidates who demonstrate a high level of motivation and good communication, social, and interpersonal skills.
∎ Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Bangla English language typing. Required fluency in both spoken and written Bangla and English languages.
∎ Age Limit : 40 years (Age limit will be relaxed in case of potential candidate).
Salary:
∎ Up to BDT.50,000/-
