Experience:
Clinical Psychology / Counseling Psychology / School Psychology/Organizational with training on evidence-based mental health.
Knowledge on counselling, training, coordination, monitoring, report writing, presentation preparation, and safeguarding.
Knowledge on people management.
Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with stakeholders in a sensitive environment.
Effective communication and presentation skills.

Our approach leverages BRAC’s decades of experience in primary healthcare service delivery to enhance the quality to enhance the quality, equity and efficiency of local health systems in rural and urban settings across Bangladesh.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide individual and group counseling to identified clients.
Assess clients’ psychosocial and mental health needs using appropriate tools.
Maintain accurate, confidential records of sessions.
Promote mental health awareness and help normalise psychological care.
Monitor and follow up on clients’ progress.
Work closely with Paramedics, Field Assistants to identify clients in need of psychosocial support.
Assist in identifying mental health cases and provide individual psychosocial support.
Deliver Psychological First Aid (PFA) and counseling during emergencies.
Organize seminars, workshops, and training programs related to mental health services.
Receive clinical supervision from mental health managers and other consultants of BHP.
Support the development of training materials, curriculum, and reports.
Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme`s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
