∎ Have experience in WASH in Emergency/ DRR/climate change and adaption with the minimum 5 years’ experience in development organization.
∎ Prior knowledge and experience humanitarian contexts in Cox’s bazar are in advantage.
∎ Knowledge of Cox’s Bazar humanitarian contexts especially in public health, WASH component, and DRR related MEAL activity & MIS system is required.
∎ Facilitation skills on training.
∎ Ability to work on word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
∎ Good English skills (written, spoken and reading).
∎ Fluent in Cox’s Bazar’s local dialect is an asset.
∎ Ability to establish collaborative relationships with staff, beneficiaries and other stakeholders.
∎ Strong attitude to take initiative, work autonomously and achieve results effectively; Flexibility and Stress-management.
∎ Demonstration “Strong training and facilitation skills.
∎ can do” and “do no harm” attitude.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Project implementation and Monitoring: The Project Officer (WinE) over all responsible for the management and implementation of the Flood Emergency Response activities.
∎ Coordinate with logistics dept. and ensure construction support and other project materials with the support of APO-CE and other team members.
∎ Ensure the quality output of the project activities by conducting regular monitoring, feedback and demonstration.
∎ Lead the assessment and ensure the data protection as on organization policy and procedures.
∎ Provide detailed, quality reports on-going activities, completion report and findings share with the respective persons on time.
∎ Conduct follow-up and on-site supportive supervision & joint monitoring visit with government officials and other stakeholders as required.
∎ Capacity Strengthening: Developed training module/guidelines as on project need.
∎ Facilitate trainings/orientation on WASH in Emergency, DRR and community mobilization as on project guidelines.
∎ Manage and build technical capacities of the APO-CM, Field Facilitators (FF) to carry out their responsibilities efficiently through coaching, demonstration, and mentoring.
∎ Assist WASH team to organizing, facilitation the training on WASH issues.
∎ Participate in different trainings nominated by the line manager.
∎ Coordination and Advocacy: Maintain liaison and communication with the UNO, PIO, responsible LGIs representatives and corresponded all administration communication with the government officials.
∎ Participate the sector coordination meeting at upazila and district label.
∎ Assist PM-WASH to advocate WASH in Emergency issues with the local administration, government officials, donors and other stakeholders.
∎ Ensure robust and efficient coordination with local administration, WASH team, sector agencies at field label.
∎ Ensure a steady and active representation of organization in various meeting/workshop/sessions.
∎ Safety and Security: Provide timely incident report to the line manager as needed.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of the safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
∎ General: Deliver high quality results in line with the terms of reference agreed in advance – to do this in a way which maintains the reputation of the Humanitarian Department.
∎ Comply with organization policies and practice with respect to code of conduct, health and safety, equal opportunities and other relevant policies and procedures.
∎ Proactively support organization commitments to gender equality, child protection and disability sensitivity: i) Implement all work-related activities with a gender, disability and child protection lens, considering the different needs, concerns and ideas of our staff and beneficiaries ii)Ensure the incorporation of gender equity principles in all policies and activities iii) Encourage the participation of all genders in meeting and on committees iv)Help build an inclusive office environment where people do not feel disadvantaged or judged according to their gender or limited due to manageable disability.
