Education, Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.

• Minimum 3 years of field experience in microfinance or development programmes.

Other Requirements:

Willingness to travel regularly among the assigned branches and conduct frequent field visits.

The project officer will work as a field-level programme implementation and quality-assurance resource for an assigned group of four to six branches with a high programme workload, and will ensure that the objectives of each programme are achieved at branch level.

Description of Function:

• Conduct a wide range of data collection and documentation activities at individual/household/community level.

• Conduct surveys and eligibility assessments to identify and select eligible members for WASH, Livelihood and Health interventions, in line with programme guidelines.

• Monitor implementation quality through regular branch and field visits, and agree corrective actions with Branch Managers.

• Ensure achievement of programme targets in the assigned branches.

• Prepare and submit regular field visit reports, monitoring reports, progress updates, and other required documentation accurately and within the stipulated timeframe.

• Identify implementation challenges and communicate them to the Field Operation Manager with practical recommendations for improvement.

• Any other functions, responsibilities or portfolio which may be assigned by the Management of the project as and when required
