• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in supervision & coordination, data collection and reporting.

• Fluency in English & Bengali languages.

• Knowledge and experience of dealing with RRRC, CiC, Navy and other Government Officials.

• Have excellent writing, reporting, and analytical skills.

• Have excellent knowledge and skill in Office applications (MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel)

• Have excellent typing skill both in Bengali and English .

• Ability to work effectively in a team and build positive relationships with diverse stakeholders.

• Pro-actively seeking new ways of improving relationship with stakeholders.

• Have ability to overcome obstacles in internal and external relationship building.

Job Context

• Reportable to: Program Manager , Support to FDMN in Bhasanchar in Education Sector

Position Overview :

This position is based in Bhasanchar, will be involved in ensuring program quality, assessments, supervision & monitoring master trainer and teachers monitoring. Would be involved in the Pooled Fund Team on the Myanmar Curriculum and ECE Program supporting the Education Sector. Needs good coordination with the Program Manager, MEAL Officer , Accounts & Admin Officer and others . Skills needed to review data and monitor teaching quality to put in place measures to strengthen teaching maintaining minimum sector standards as well as ensuring safeguarding and PSEAH.

This role also involves supervision and mentoring of Field Facilitators and working closely with project stakeholders, beneficiaries, and team members to ensure effective and secured project execution and positive impact on the targeted community.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure program quality in collaboration with the Program Manager and MEAL Officer, emphasizing equitable access to quality, protective and inclusive education.

• Develop comprehensive training schedules and modules and coordinate meetings and workshops, fostering effective planning with project team members.

• Conduct regular field visits to maintain high service delivery standards, ensuring quality

education services in PARC facilitated BRAC Pooled Fund supported learning facilities.

• Monitor service quality, oversee staff training and support, and effectively manage Education

Teaching and Learning Materials.

• Create educational and training curricula and supervise the teaching-learning process, materials, and subject-based activities.

• Seek high-level technical support for Education/Emergency Education programming from both

internal and external sources.

• Analyze continuous assessments of Education and cross-sectoral needs in learning facilities

and communities, integrating findings into sectoral strategies and program design.

• Identify gaps in teachers' performance and implement improvements through coaching, mentoring, hands-on support, orientation, and training.

• Assist field-level staffs in curriculum roll-out, session planning, materials, and Teacher Learning Circle activities.

• Regularly update the Program Manager on implementation progress, utilizing data collection to identify gaps, assess trends, and align project strategies.

• Guide Field Facilitators to ensure proper facilitation of beneficiary selection, community needs assessments and capacity analysis leads to quality education.

• Establish relationships and networks with key stakeholders, including government agencies, academics, CSOs, and NGOs in related fields.

• Prepare and submit reports to the program manager promptly, ensuring accurate and comprehensive documentation.

• Collaborate closely with the Program Manager , MEAL Officer and other project staff for seamless project execution.

• Organize and conduct various workshops and meetings to facilitate project-related activities efficiently.

• Ensure the safety of Program Participants, people who come into contact with the

organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation

including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the program's goals of

safeguarding & PSEAH implementation.

Act as a key Gender, PSEA, Safeguarding and Inclusion Focal, source of support, guidance and expert on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.

• Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and

ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.

• Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and

encourage others to do so.
