Education:
∎ Bachelor/Honors
∎ Bachelor’s degree in Social Science, Development Studies, Public Health, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.

∎ Fluency in Bengali and English, both written and spoken.
∎ Age Limit: 45 years maximum (Age limit will be relaxed in case of potential candidates)

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Ensure the efficient implementation of project activities in line with approved project plans, timelines, and budget.
∎ Monitor and evaluate project activities and progress at the field level.
∎ Coordinate with local communities, local government authorities and other stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of activities.
∎ Prepare the cash forecast and cash request timely for submission and also manages financial settlements with NHQ.
∎ Facilitate awareness campaigns, workshops, and training programs.
∎ Ensure active involvement of community members in decision-making processes.
∎ Address beneficiary concerns and feedback to improve the project's effectiveness.
∎ Monitor field-level data collection, reporting, and documentation.
∎ Provide regular updates to the Project Manager and key stakeholders on project progress, challenges, and achievements.
∎ Ensure the timely submission of activity and financial reports, as required.
∎ Document lessons learned, best practices, and case studies.
∎ Supervise and support field-based volunteers, and community-based organizations (CBOs).
∎ Organize and participate in field visits to ensure quality assurance of activities.
∎ Coordinate with other departments, such as logistics and finance, for smooth project implementation.
∎ Liaise with local government authorities, partner organizations, and other humanitarian actors to ensure alignment of project activities.
∎ Maintain strong relationships with beneficiaries, community leaders, and other relevant stakeholders.
∎ Represent BDRCS in community meetings, forums, and events related to the project.
∎ Ensure the proper utilization and management of project resources in the field.
∎ Report any discrepancies or issues regarding resource distribution or logistics.
∎ Assist in managing project inventories, including supplies, equipment, and materials.
∎ The Red Cross-Red Crescent Movement is the largest volunteer organization in the world. Bangladesh Red Crescent Society (BDRCS), a national society of the Movement, constituted on 31 March 1973 by the President's Order No. 26 of 1973 with retrospective effect from 16 December 1971, is the biggest humanitarian organization in the country. As an auxiliary to the government in terms of providing the humanitarian assistance, BDRCS has been working to prevent and alleviate human suffering through rendering humanitarian services in partnership with local authorities and communities across all the districts of Bangladesh through its 68 branches and dedicated network of volunteers, in line with the international humanitarian standards and adhering to the seven Fundamental Principles of the Red Cross Red Crescent Movement. BDRCS activities include humanitarian response, Climate Change Adaptation, disaster management, health and wellbeing, capacity building and promoting Red Cross/Red Crescent ideals and principles.
∎ Currently, under the “Pathways to Healing: A survivor Centered Approach to Address Violence and Human Rights Violations in Bangladesh”, BDRCS is looking for a suitable Bangladeshi candidate for the following position:
∎ Project Name: Pathways to Healing: A survivor Centred Approach to Address Violence and Human Rights Violations in Bangladesh
∎ Duration of Contract: 1 year (with possibility of extension subject to satisfactory performance and availability of fund)
∎ Reportable To: Project Manager
∎ Duty Station: Division Levels (Rangpur, Rajshahi, Chattogram, Khulna)
∎ Job Purpose
∎ He/she will be responsible for implementing all the unit level activities under the program in coordination with the BDRCS NHQ team. Establish a network with district-level administrator and local government and other stakeholders for the successful implementation of activities and ensuring sustainability.
