Experience:
Bachelors or Masters in any subject from any reputed university or institute.
Knowledge:
Community Engagement & Protection: Strong understanding of community mobilization, refugee/host community dynamics, safeguarding, and protection principles (including PSEA and child protection).
Centre & Volunteer Management: Knowledge of community centre operations, volunteer coordination, logistics, and basic administrative and financial procedures.
Programme Implementation & Reporting: Familiarity with project coordination, data reporting tools (KOBO/MIS), inter-agency collaboration, and effective communication with stakeholders.
Skills:
Good Communication skill, Report Writing skill, Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to learning and implementing organizational policies and procedures. Full proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel. Proficiency in local language is essential.

The Project Officer will be responsible for organizing and facilitating the key activities especially Community engagement at the field level under the assigned project.
Supervise the overall operations of the Community Centre and manage volunteers effectively.
Assign and monitor responsibilities of Community Centre volunteers to ensure smooth functioning.
Oversee the management, maintenance, and general upkeep of the Community Centre and related facilities.
Organize and implement both centre-based and outreach community activities engaging Persons of Concern (PoCs) across all age groups.
Prepare bills, process volunteer salary disbursements, and handle all administrative and financial tasks.
Ensure all required logistics and supplies are available for uninterrupted centre operations through regular coordination with volunteers.
Maintain the centre’s operational schedule (8:30 AM – 4:00 PM, five days a week) and ensure punctuality and consistency.
Act as custodian of all centre assets and ensure timely repair, maintenance, and inventory management.
Compile and submit regular activity reports, including MIS and KOBO data, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Disseminate verified key messages and information from UNHCR and Government authorities to the community.
Engage closely with the community and local leaders (Imams, teachers, Mahjis, women and youth groups, and persons with disabilities) to strengthen community relationships.
Identify community needs, deliver life-saving messages, and organize awareness sessions as required.
Coordinate with other service providers and the CIC office to ensure effective collaboration.
Represent the centre in CIC meetings and other camp-level coordination activities.
Organize and facilitate meetings with relevant sub-groups (e.g., legal, case management, and CBP groups) to maintain service quality.
Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
