∎ Aparajeyo-Bangladesh, a national level NGO working with the disadvantaged people is inviting applications from suitable candidates for Y-Moves Project financially supported by Plan International Bangladesh.
∎ DIRECT MANAGEMENT LINES:

∎ Job Location - Dhaka District (may have to travel out of Dhaka)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE FUNCTION:
∎ To Implement and develop the program in close cooperation with the Executive Director , to advice, act and cooperate as a member of the Program Management Team (PMT) for the policy and decision making Process.
∎ MAIN RESPONSIBILITY: Responsible for implementing of strengthen and develop Organizational capacity of Youth-led and Civil Society Organizations through ensuring its effective and efficient performance within agreed policies, procedures, operational mechanisms and human resource management including child protection policy. The person maintain liaison with the Nation level agencies for conducting policy advocacy.
∎ SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES-
∎ To ensure effective coordination amongst the projects in order to achieve the aims & objectives of the Programme.
∎ To provide proper & adequate support to the 14 Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) & 2 Youth-led Organizations (YOs) within agreed policies, priorities and objectives
∎ Responsible to build capacity of relevant organizational staffs, police
∎ To manage and organize meeting with National Children Task Force (NCTF) for engaging child parliament, SDG-5 monitoring, and UNCRC alternative report preparation and advocacy at local level.
∎ To lead, and actively contribute to Quarterly coordination meeting with CSOs at local for collaboration and networking
∎ Responsible to advocacy with National level and arrange annual planning workshop and Learning capturing workshop at national level.
∎ To Produce effective and efficient Online and paper based SBCC and material development and printing on SRHR, CP, Advocacy
∎ To ensure that the target groups receive high quality of training on gender, SRHR and SGBV and safeguarding issues effectively in accordance to the available resources
∎ To lead and effectively Organize dialogue session at community level
∎ To seek and ensure all possible National level and community level support for target groups
∎ To keep Line Manager informed on all relevant matters and carry all duties that may be reasonable requested by the higher authority.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 45 years
∎ TECHNICAL/PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS
∎ Conversant in common IT applications (MS word, MS power point, internet browsing & e-mail communications)
∎ EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
∎ At least 5 years' experience in the project management is preferable, projects related to advocacy and lobbying
∎ Sound knowledge of project cycle management
∎ Excellent planning, analytical, organizational and decision making skills
∎ Good working relationships with colleagues, partners, external actors and allies
∎ Excellent communication skills including a high level of written and spoken English
∎ Conversant in common IT applications (MS word, MS power point, internet browsing & e-mail communications)
∎ Ability to prioritize tasks, work under pressure and meet deadlines
Salary: Tk. 40000 (Monthly)
