Requirements:
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 3 years experience in implementation of the democracy and local governance project/s at grassroots, particularly in the area of local government expertise and women empowerment.
∎ Should have good knowledge of advocacy, designing and conducting the training and workshop/seminars at different levels.
∎ Should have previous experience of supervision, monitoring and reporting as per Performance Monitoring Indicators.
∎ Excellent computer operation skills including Microsoft excel, word, email and internet browsing.
∎ Good interpersonal skills, has demonstrated proactive roles in team work and must have good writing and speaking skill on English.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Supporting and providing overall assistance to the District Project Officer in implementing all the activities.
∎ Maintaining coordination and communication with the District Project Officer.
∎ Supporting in preparing annual work plan and budget (AWP&B) including event calendar in the district in which s/he will be operating.
∎ Participate in and facilitate different trainings, workshop and meeting at the local level.
∎ Providing assistance to the activities of the stakeholders at field level.
∎ Maintaining liaison and sharing the information with the local stakeholders.
∎ With the concern of the District Project Officer coordinating with the stakeholders in implementing the activities at district level.
∎ Providing assistance to supervise and monitor the activities of the project personnel.
∎ Maintaining liaison and sharing the information with the local government institute, associations, administration and public service provider.
∎ Maintaining working relation with Donor implemented projects at district level.
∎ Prepare training and monitoring work plan with budget of LGUs in which s/he will be operating.
∎ Prepared activity wise monthly work plan.
∎ Prepared activity wise quarterly work plan.
∎ Communication and selection volunteers.
∎ Conduct an orientation for the volunteers of survey group.
∎ Assist to the volunteers to conduct a survey at the union level.
∎ Facilitating, conducting and managing the training, workshops, meetings and orientations at local level.
∎ Supervise and monitor the activities of the stakeholders and beneficiaries that received trainings under the project.
∎ Communication and linkage with local administration law enforcement agencies for smoothly implementation the program.
∎ Perform any other task as and when required by the authority.

∎ The Project Officer will be responsible for associating planning, implementation and monitoring of the activities at the district level. S/he will also associate the overall project at district level and beyond.
