Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters or equivalent in Civil Engineering, URBAN, Public Health, Relevant subject from any recognized university with minimum second class/division or equivalent GPA/CGPA in all academic examinations.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Be responsible for the implementation and support of the WASH projects in line with the activity plan and time frame of project proposals and any applicable national and international guidelines.
∎ Close supervision and management the quality construction of all infrastructures, ensuring maintenance and sustainability.
∎ Ensure that regular monitoring and evaluation assessments are conducted as planned with reports being made.
∎ Ensure integration of beneficiary participation and accountability.
∎ Assess existing project activities and recommend actions to be taken.
∎ Provide inputs and initiates the development of the WASH strategies, new projects, and donor proposals.
∎ Support the WASH lead in analyzing the project at all level and work closely with the Program managers and project manager finance and budget to make all the corrections and modification of the projects whenever required.
∎ Manage and oversee recruitment, day-to-day management, development and training, appraisals, etc.
∎ Hold monthly team meetings with the teams, review objectives, inform them of issues relevant to their work and provide feedback and ensure they receive coaching and training.
∎ Promote the health and security of the teams by providing support to the WASH Sector lead in promoting the staff safety and security
∎ On occasions work with casual labor or other field staff (close monitoring of hiring, coordinating workload, payment).
∎ Plan, develop, approve the PRs and manage budgets for the assigned projects.
∎ Coordinate and oversee petty cash requirements of the assigned teams.
∎ Develop and maintain regular and supportive communication structures with teams and stakeholders.
∎ Represent BRAC WASH at local level coordination meetings involving local authorities, UN agencies, etc.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation to achieve the program goals on safeguarding implementation.
∎ Act as a critical source of support, guidance, and expertise on preserving for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote, and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place encourage others to do so.
∎ Fully respect and apply the Humanitarian codes of conducts values, including
∎ Humanitarian Accountability Framework (HAF), Accountability to the affected population (AAP).

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 20 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Knowledge on WASH Sector in Emergency
∎ Proven and good understanding of community-based approaches
∎ Financial management
∎ SPHERE Standards, Humanitarian Principles
∎ Knowledge of updated technologies for increasing work productivity and process optimization
∎ Computer Literacy (MS-Word, Excel, power point etc.)
∎ Skills in digital communication medias like Skype, Zoom, Google meet
∎ Presentation skills
∎ Report preparing
