The "AI Skills Training for TVET Students in Bangladesh" is an 18-month project (ending Dec 2026) aiming to equip 10,000 final-year TVET students with essential AI skills. Led by BRAC’s Education Programme and Social Innovation Lab, with support from Google and Asian Venture Philanthropy Network. It tackles the job market's skills gap. The training, based on Google’s AI modules, covers productivity tools, prompt engineering, and AI ethics. Delivered through a blended model of online and live sessions via BRAC’s LMS, the project aims to boost employability and promote digital innovation across industries in Bangladesh.
Job Purpose
This position is responsible for managing the overall coordination and delivery of the AI Skills Training Project, ensuring successful implementation across TVET institutions and Madrasas. The incumbent will be responsible for planning, stakeholder coordination, field-level monitoring, and ensuring that training outcomes align with project objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the day-to-day planning and coordination of the AI Skills Training Project to ensure timely implementation.
Facilitate onboarding processes for partner TVET institutions and Madrasas, including supporting MoU execution and coordination with institutional focal points.
Coordinate with government officials, education authorities, and local stakeholders to ensure project alignment and institutional support.
Manage field-level activities such as orientations, training sessions, and graduation events.
Support monitoring and evaluation processes to track training effectiveness, gather feedback, and recommend improvements.
Ensure accurate and timely documentation, reporting, and donor compliance.
Safeguarding Responsibilities
Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
