Job Context:
∎ Background of the position: Sesame Workshop recently awarded a fund from Internet Society Foundation (ISF) to promote online safety for children and equip their parents and caregivers to identify safe internet spaces and to facilitate an environment where children are exposed to appropriate early childhood education contents free from digital threats and hazards. Under this project Sesame Workshop Bangladesh will develop digital games and other materials, will produce storybooks and will distribute them in primary schools through collaborative partnerships with government and NGOs to help parents capacity on internet safety and early childhood education.
∎ About the Position: Project Manager is a mid-level positions in SW Bangladesh country office reportable to the Head of Programs. This position looks after the entire program planning, budgeting, implementation of Safe Internet for ECD project.

∎ Contract length : One year contract with a possibility of extension of an additional one year
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Project Manager will be responsible for implementation of the project as per project design, workplan, and budget. Below is the detail of the job to be performed.
∎ Project Management and Implementation:
∎ Lead the implementation of entire project as per design to achieve the project outcomes
∎ Prepare, update, and follow the project implementation calendar
∎ Manage project budget and ensure the spending is made as per timeline
∎ Work with partners to implement project activities as per project design
∎ Get necessary government approvals if and when required for project implementation
∎ Coordinate with donor for making sure project activities are delivered as per donor's requirements
∎ Coordinate with the stakeholders for ensuring a smooth operation of the project
∎ Assist Director-Programs in designing program implementation strategy and follow the strategy in project implementation
∎ Execute different sorts of digital webinar, talk-show, live-show with influencers and parents based on the project thematic aspects
∎ Support to promote the eLearning platform among the parents/caregivers as per approved promotional strategy
∎ Ensure all project-based materials are distributed to the project locations including primary schools
∎ Keep regular communication with project schools and community, and track the uses of delivered content
∎ Work closely with Admin team for production of the materials as per project requirement
∎ Project Resource Development:
∎ Lead the project related training and workshops design and implementation as per the project design and as per requirement of field operations
∎ Work with Content team to ensure production of project materials and coordinate the procurement, and distribution to field level as per the project implementation plan
∎ Work closely with Content and Creative Services team to support in designing and developing project specific contents including games, storybooks etc.
∎ Work closely with Social Media team in promoting project activities through Sisimpur Social Media platforms
∎ Coordinate to develop an innovative/interactive digital instruction manual for Sisimpur eLearning Platform
∎ Coordinate onboarding of game developer, finalize the game outlines and ensure the game is developed are per project timeline
∎ Reporting and Documentation:
∎ Prepare the project work plan, update the work plan time to time and implement the project activities as per the plan
∎ Develop TOR for hiring consultants and assist to select the right consultant and facilitate the activities with consultant.
∎ Develop RFP for hiring research agency and assist to select the right vendor and facilitate training of enumerators
∎ Review data collection tools and data analysis process for both digital and outreach implementation
∎ Prepare quarterly/half yearly project reports and submit to donor
∎ Monitoring and Research:
∎ Support monitoring and evaluation team in performing project research and evaluations
∎ Monitor field level activities, provide guidance to the ground-level staff and volunteers for proper implementation of the project activities
∎ Coordinate with donor for project specific documentation, data collection and reporting
∎ Others:
∎ Assist Finance Team in project specific budgeting and cost reporting
∎ Support Director programs in different programmatic strategy development
∎ Support social media team in development social media strategy development
∎ Support phil-dev and business development teams in their organizations sustainability initiatives
∎ AND to perform any other assignments assigned by the supervisor.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 5 years of work experiences in educational project implementation including ECD, Primary Education and Community Awareness projects
∎ Excellent understanding about digital learning environment, social media and educational apps
∎ Excellent communications skills in English speaking and writing
∎ Strong training facilitation and community mobilization skills
Salary:
