Educational Requirements:
∎ MBBS or Masters in any discipline from any recognized University.
∎ Any third division/class/GPA less than 2.5 in academic career is not eligible.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At most 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ 1. Planning:
∎ a. Participate in policy and strategy development meeting
∎ b. Lead the malaria team and prepare annual and monthly work-plan
∎ c. Support higher management in decision making
∎ 2. Implementation:
∎ a. Ensure overall implementation of the programme according to plan and budget
∎ b. Perform administrative and financial management of the programme
∎ c. Ensure timely recruitment, deployment and orientation of project staff
∎ d. Ensure implementation of the surveillance system and EDPT at community level
∎ e. Supervise and ensure distribution and using of LLIN among the beneficiaries
∎ f. Ensure timel procurement and supply of goods and other logistics
∎ g. Ensure uninterrupted supply of drugs, diagnostics and other logistics
∎ 3. Monitoring, Supervision & Coordination:
∎ a. Facilitate internal and external monitoring and audit
∎ b. Supervise all activities implemented in field
∎ c. Supervise all the staff working under malaria programme
∎ d. Maintain coordination with Government, BRAC and other Stakeholders in implementing programme activities
∎ e. Conduct planned visit to oversee programme implementation at operational level and filling up the checklist
∎ f. Facilitate periodic visits by NMCP, BRAC, WHO, LFA, GFATM and other stakeholders
∎ g. Support concerned authorities and stakeholders for conducting monitoring and evaluation (M&E) activities
∎ h. Attend monthly and quarterly level at regional and central level organized by the PR
∎ 4. Reporting & Dissemination:
∎ a. Ensure timely, complete and accurate reporting as per MIS guideline
∎ b. Ensure any other reports to BRAC and NMCP as and when necessary
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ a. For medical graduates, minimum 1 year management experience specially Malaria.
∎ b. For others, minimum 5 years working experience in any health care project specially Malaria
∎ c. Ability to work with government and development partners
∎ d. Ability to work independently, in a team and in the community
∎ e. Adequate knowledge on health and social structures of Bangladesh
∎ f. Strong administrative, management and motivational skills
∎ g.Strong interpersonal and communication skill
∎ h.Good oral and written communication skill in both Bangla and English
∎ i.Good computer skills (MS Office, PowerPoint and MS Excel)
∎ j. Valid Motorcycle driving license and willingness to drive motorcycle
Salary: Tk. 49778 (Monthly)
