Experience:

• Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Civil Engineering

Minimum B.Sc. Degree in Civil Engineering from any reputed University (Preferably from BUET, KUET, RUET, CUET, SUST and AUST)

• The age limit may be relaxed for experienced and potential candidate

• At least 8-12 years, working experience in civil construction works in reputed company / companies

• Working experience in Real Estate companies are preferable.

• Should have ability to coordinate all activities of projects

• Should have proper knowledge of site activities and be able to guide them

• Should have knowledge of Construction material and equipment required at project/ site

• Sound working knowledge on high rise building, Fair Face Casting and multi basement construction work.

• Proven experience on quality control and finishing works of a building.

• Minimum working experience in Electro Mechanical work and MEP (Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing)

• Must have sound technical knowledge and good engineering knowledge to solve any problem arise in project /site

• Should be able to read and understand all designs and report any violation

• Expert knowledge on building products, construction details and BOQ

• Must have good knowledge on current material rate and work rate

• Able to negotiate and finalize rate of contractors and prepare work order

• Expertise knowledge on relevant rules, regulations and quality standards

• Knowledge on MS Word, Excel, Microsoft Project, Power Point and any other Engineering related program

• Should be able to identify and take decision in advance which may delay the project

• Competent in conflict and crisis management and should have the ability to work under pressure.

• Ensure all responsibilities of Project Engineer at projects/ sites are carried out smoothly

• Coordinate, monitor and organize to execute all activities of projects smoothly

• Ensure work schedules are prepared and followed strictly at all projects/ sites

• Check and forward demand from project sites in advance

• Control and maintain quality of works of the projects

• Finalize roof casting date of all projects and ensure supply of all required materials (rebar, RMC etc.) in time

• Coordinate with Accounts and Purchase section to procure materials

• Negotiate terms of agreement and select efficient, qualified and skilled contractors

• Finalize rate of contractors and prepare work order as per company rules and regulations

• Ensure quality of materials, construction and finishing of works

• Study all design in depth and inform concern authority well in advance about any variation

• Ensure that safety and security of projects/ sites are maintained including cleanliness

• Giving clarification of any problem as soon as given from any project/ site

• Monitor efficiency of sub-contractors and report to Authority through proper channel

• Responsible for Checking bills as per work done and process for payment

• Pay bill to subcontractors and vendors as per company’s policy but ensure they are not overpaid

• Any other works needed for the projects or entrusted by Head Office
