Educational Requirements:
∎ Minimum of Master’s degree in Public Health, Social Science, Development Studies or relevant technical WASH specialization. Post-Graduation in respective field will get preference.

Experience Requirements:
∎ 5 to 7 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Programmatic responsibilities:
∎ 1. Overall programmatic responsibility for implementation of Reducing arsenic contamination and waterborne diseases by improving access to WASH conditionsProject
∎ 2. Finalize work plan of the organizationsReducing arsenic contamination and waterborne diseases by improving access to WASH conditionsProjectand submit to HQ of HEED Bangladesh
∎ 3. To arrange a monthly co-ordination meeting for discussing the progress and problems (if any) and inform HQ accordingly.
∎ 4. Ensure work plans are met through collaboration with HFH and HEED Bangladesh.
∎ 5. Liaises with Training officer and MEAL officer to ensure timely receipt of technical support from HEED Bangladesh and HFH.
∎ 6. Liaises with MEAL officer to ensure M&E needs are being met by HFH and HEED Bangladesh MEAL personnel on a timely basis.
∎ 7. Review individual performances of Reducing arsenic contamination and waterborne diseases by improving access to WASH conditionsProject field staff at organization level and review and approve their plan.
∎ 8. Undertake supportive supervision of working upazilla Community Facilitators at the upazilla level
∎ 9. Supervise the coordination of all activities of Reducing arsenic contamination and waterborne diseases by improving access to WASH conditionsProjectand coach team members to ensure team spirit.
∎ 10. Maintain liaison with Operations Director and partners and relevant Govt. departments as per need of Reducing arsenic contamination and waterborne diseases by improving access to WASH conditionsProject
∎ 11. Review progress report and share feedback with the organization management quarter as per schedule through HQ responsible personnel.
∎ 12. Submit half yearly, annual program report to Operations Director and the organization.
∎ 13. Coach team members and encourage and support to uphold team spirit.
∎ 14. Make field visits regular monthly / weekly basis to supervise field level activity.
∎ 15. To ensure that all kinds of necessary information are timely sent to the head Office
∎ Information management:
∎ 1. Liaison with partner organization (GO, other NGOs) both at local level and District level to introduce/update project strategy and activities also assess program expansion activities in consultation with HQ Supervisor.
∎ 2. Regular coordination with District level –NGO related officer for NGO affairs bureau and submission of documents as per needs.
∎ 3. Develop linkage with other stakeholders like other Arsenic and WASH program implementing partner and other NGOs etc. in Local upazilla level.
∎ 4. Finalize monthly, quarterly and project completion reports for HQ.
∎ 5. Effectively coordinate with partner’s staff to ensure smooth and effective implementation of KOICA project in all respects.
∎ Policy and Advocacy:
∎ 6. Support the development of policy and advocacy initiatives within the project with consultation with HQ
∎ 7. Support the design and production of policy and advocacy related materials assigned by HQ.
∎ 8. Support and participate in the documentation of project activities at local, national and international levels, including lessons learnt and best practices assigned by Operations Director.
∎ Uphold Host organization values and compliance organizational principles:
∎ 9. Internalize and practice of organizational core values and principles.
∎ 10. Ensure compliance of HEED Bangladesh policies at all aspects.
∎ 11. Promote appropriate organizational culture and be role models for other in the team and other partners
∎ 12. Attend different types of meeting, workshop assign by Operations Director
∎ 13. Perform any other duties that may be assigned by the management.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ 1. At least five-seven years of work experience with designing and implementing water and sanitation systems, preferable in Arsenic Mitigation Program.
∎ 2. Maintaining sanitation systems, and implementing hygiene promotion programs, including 2 years in a humanitarian setting; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
∎ 3. An appreciation of WASH in health facilities and outbreak preparedness and/or response.
∎ 4. Demonstrated analytical, motivational, communication, project conceptualization and planning skills;
∎ 5. Experience in developing WASH strategy including Arsenic, clear and realistic activity planning; overseeing implementation, tracking the progress, reporting against the agreed indicators and managing project budget
∎ 6. Experience and understanding of key intuitional donors’ policies, guidelines and strategies e.g. KOICA
∎ 7. Demonstrated experience in WASH (Arsenic) proposal development and preparation of internal and donor reports.
∎ 8. Ability to effectively present information (both written and verbally) and respond appropriately to questions from senior managers in the field and HQ, counterparts, senior government
∎ 9. Demonstrated knowledge of linking WASH activities with other humanitarian sectors.
∎ 10. Ability to understand gender related challenges within the beneficiary groups
∎ 11. Works well in and promotes teamwork, comfortable in a multi-cultural environment, flexible and able to handle pressure well
∎ 12. Demonstrated experience of working closely with support functions (finance and logistics) on activity and procurement planning.
∎ 13. Fluent in English and Bangla, Computer Skill, Presentation Skill, Advocacy and CommunicationSkill is required
∎ 14. Experience in project management and programming knowledge in Arsenic and WASH in addition to Livelihoods.

Salary:
∎ Tk. 67000 (Monthly)
∎ Consolidation including festival bonus
