Education:
∎ Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery(MBBS), Masters
∎ MBBS/ Masters Degree in any discipline in any recognized university (MPH ) Preferable.
∎ Any third division /class in an academic career will lead to ineligibility.
∎ For medical graduates, a minimum of 05 years of experience in a relevant field or any health programme management.
∎ For others, a minimum of 07 years of experience in a relevant field or any health programme management.

∎ Knowledge in application of Software, e.g. Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel. Microsoft PowerPoint.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Strengthen the government health system for integrated TB control and prevention services
∎ Promote government ownership and stewardship for implementing TB services
∎ Support National TB Programme for implementation and long term sustainability
∎ Coordinate planning with NTP specially Divisional TB expert in support of the transition towards government stewardship of key programme activities
∎ Contribute in developing National TB/PPT/DR TB/ TB-HIV/High Risk population strategy, guideline, SoP and training manuals
∎ Support National TB Programme for implementation of National TB/PPT/DR TB/ TB- HIV/High Risk population guidelines and SoPs
∎ Optimum utilization of the resources and smooth implementation of the programme under the leadership of hITP
∎ Monitor and supervise the implementation of TB programme with extensive field visit
∎ Periodic data analysis, programme reviews/meetings at different levels with filed staff in collaboration with NTP following national guideline and reach targets/milestone
∎ Support and collaborate with NTP, LFA, WHO, donor and other technical partners for verification and reporting
∎ Ensure proper recording and recording at filed offices and health facilities
∎ Maintain coordination and communication with the government, NTP, NGO partners, donors, LFA and other relevant stakeholders
∎ Prepare TB implementation plan in close collaboration with NTP
∎ Ensure overall implementation of TB Control programme in relevant geographic areas.
∎ Supervise and provide support in administrative and financial management of the programme.
∎ Ensure administrative and financial support in SR’s own working areas.
∎ Coordinate timely recruitment, orientation and deployment of staff.
∎ Supervise and provide technical support to ensure anti-TB treatment according to NTP guidelines, through periodic field visits.
∎ Coordinate and provide support referral of presumptive and complicated cases to diagnose through X-ray and Gene Xpert site for diagnosis of missing cases and case management.
∎ Ensure identification of missing TB cases as per target in assigned geographic area and prepare plan.
∎ To take proper measures for well-functioning of Gene X-pert and TB diagnosis Centre to catch up missing TB cases.
∎ Ensure availability of anti-TB drugs and other supplies.
∎ TB diseases report analysis weekly, monthly and quarterly to reach the yearly target on time.
∎ Organize and facilitate monthly and quarterly staff meetings to review progress and develop actions for further improvement of the programme.
∎ Maintain overall coordination with Government, BRAC and other stakeholders in implementing TB Control activities.
∎ Conduct periodic monitoring of TB Control activities according to action plan and proper report.
∎ Facilitate internal and external monitoring and audit.
∎ Facilitate periodic visits by BRAC, NTP, WHO, LFA, CCM, Global Fund and other
∎ stakeholders.
∎ Supervise and coordinate quality assurance and surveillance system.
∎ Coordinate and attend monthly and/ or quarterly programme review meetings organized by the SR and the PR.
∎ Supervise and coordinate quality assurance and survey system.
∎ Ensure disease, programmatic and finance report timely, accurate and complete as per the agreement and ensure to BRAC and NTP.
∎ Ensure any other report to BRAC and NTP as and when necessary.
