Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor's/ Master's degree in Social Sciences / Development Studies / Projecct management with experience in protection Based related field.

Job Context:
∎ Project Coordinator Terms of Reference SAVE.
∎ SAVE was established in 2006 with a view to promote national development through education development and improving the socio-economic conditions of target groups, including the disadvantaged and vulnerable women and children of society. It believes in unlocking human potential and derives appropriate approaches for bringing the target population out of the cycle of illiteracy and poverty. SAVE works with the Public International Law & Policy Group (PILPG) to train volunteers in the Rohingya camps in Cox`s Bazar to document human rights abuses through witness interviews. The collected statements are uploaded and stored in a secure database for usage in future transitional justice efforts.
∎ As the PILPG team does not have a permanent presence in Bangladesh and operates through SAVE, there is a need to have two project support staff based in Cox`s Bazar and nearby to be able to regularly make trips to the Rohingya camps and coordinate with SAVE management, as well as Bangladeshi authorities regarding the implementation of the project.
∎ Available to start in January 2022;
∎ The Project Coordinator will be a consultant of the Public International Law & Policy Group (PILPG) , and directly supervised by and report to the Deputy Executive Director at SAVE;

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Project Coordinator will ensure the smooth implementation of the project in Bangladesh, including by motivating and inspiring the documenters to collect interviews from victims, ensuring efficient functioning of the PILPG project and office operations, and coordinating with PILPG, SAVE, and Bangladeshi authorities. The Project Coordinator will be responsible to the Deputy Executive Director at SAVE and the PILPG team.
∎ Working with and supporting Rohingya documenters to allow them to conduct human rights documentation in the Rohingya camps and interview Rohingya victims and witnesses.
∎ Monitoring the progress of the project, including the accuracy of the interview data collected and the steady increase of the number of interviews collected and uploaded to the database.
∎ Supervising the overall implementation of the project and operations at the field office.
∎ Reporting to SAVE, PILPG, and Bangladeshi authorities about the project implementation according to the appropriate guidelines.
∎ Visiting the Rohingya camps at least twice a week, to meet with the Rohingya documenters and collect the interview materials from them.
∎ Ensuring the Rohingya documenters have all the necessary supplies to perform their activities.
∎ Hiring new Rohingya documenters for the project.
∎ Organizing and supporting PILPG trainings as necessary, including by providing interpretation from English to Rohingya (Chittagonian).
∎ Supporting the project's translator and the database officer with interview processing and preparation for uploading to the Uwazi database.
∎ Closely working experience with Government Rohingya Camp Management Team
∎ Experience with maintain liaison with RRRC, CIC and relevant sector in the targeted area.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Background and expertise in project management is required (demonstrated proficiency in human rights concepts preferred);
∎ Ability to interpret from English to Rohingya or Chitaggonian is required;
∎ Familiarity with the Rohingya context is required;
∎ Familiarity with the legal landscape for Rohingya activities and NGO rules is required;
∎ Affinity with technological tools is preferred;
∎ Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
∎ Fluency in English, proficiency in Rohingya and/or Chittagonian;
∎ Experience working with volunteers is preferred.
∎ More than 5-6-year experience in in the related field is required (data
∎ collection, entry & analysis, information management, knowledge management, MEAL etc.).
∎ Closely working experience in Rohingya Camp.
∎ Experience with maintain liaison with RRRC, CIC and relevant sector in the targeted area.

Salary:
∎ Consolidated Salary: BDT 1,25,000-130,000 (Per Month).
