Educational Requirements:
∎ CA - CC will be preferable/Post Graduation in Accounting/Finance.
Job Context:
∎ Social Action of Voluntary Efforts (SAVE).
∎ SAVE established in 2006 with a view to promote national development through education development and improving socio-economic condition of the target peoples including the disadvantaged and vulnerable women and children of the society. It believes in unlocking human potential and derives appropriate approaches for brining the target population out of vicious cycle of illiteracy and poverty. SAVE works with the Public International Law & Policy Group (PILPG) to implement a project titled "Rohingya Documentation Initiative in Bangladesh"
∎ aiming to train volunteers in the Rohingya camps in Cox`s Bazar to document human rights abuses through witness interviews.
∎ SAVE is going to recruit a Finance & Admin Officer who will be based in Cox`s Bazar to ensure the required support to the program team time to time.
∎ Financial control management
∎ Human Resources Administration
∎ Office Administration
∎ Close coordination and liaison with the SAVE management and PILPG.
∎ Job Location: Project office, Cox`s Bazar.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ 1: Financial control management
∎ Set-up and maintain a computerized ledger accounting system in line with agreed procedures.
∎ Maintaining Cash book, Bank book, General ledger, subsidiary ledger(S) and other.
∎ Keep financial records and perform financial procedures (payroll, receipts, payments, petty cash).
∎ Maintain strong control environment: performing bank reconciliations and other control accounts, understand key controls required.
∎ Provide monthly financial reports to SAVE and to PILPG authorities as required.
∎ Assist the organization and management of internal and external audits.
∎ Ensure expenses are authorized and processed in accordance with agreed procedures for both SAVE.
∎ Monitor project and organization spending to ensure within agreed budgets.
∎ Ensure agreed reporting dates are maintained.
∎ Ensure donor financial requirements are complied with, working closely with SAVE to ensure documentation is complete and on file.
∎ Payment of salaries to project staff, dealing with taxes and insurance, rent and other office costs.
∎ Ensure all statutory requirements regarding taxes and other payments are known and advise when any changes happen. Update contracts/handbooks accordingly.
∎ Prepare the periodic Budget Monitoring report.
∎ Prepare fund requisition and collect fund from the respective PILPG authorities.
∎ Prepare the accurate and complete reporting as per PILPG requirement.
∎ 2: Human Resource Administration
∎ Maintain personnel records and ensuring the personnel procedures as agreed with SAVE office are followed and staff contracts are up to date.
∎ Liaising with SAVE HR department, provide coordination of recruitment and induction processes.
∎ 3: Office Administration
∎ Ensure efficient running of SAVE Project office.
∎ Work to develop and maintain effective office systems and services (incl. IT support), ensuring these are consistent with SAVE's operating requirements.
∎ Manage office procurement procedures.
∎ Provide administrative/operational support as required.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 5 years in national and international organization.
∎ Fluency in English and Bengali.
∎ Good computer skills.

Salary:
∎ Salary Range: 75,000 (Monthly).
