Job Context:
∎ Sabalamby Unnayan Samity (SUS), Netrakona, Bangladesh invites application from suitable candidate for the following position under Social and Behavior Change (SBC) Program for Prevention of violence against children (including adolescents), Child Marriage and promotion of children and adolescent well-being Project which is funded by UNICEF Bangladesh. Project area- (1) Kolmakanda, Khaliajuri & Mohongonj under Netrakona District, (2) Sherpur, Nailtabari & Shreebordi under Sherpur district and (3) Islampur & Dewangonj under Jamalpur district.
∎ Project which is funded by UNICEF Bangladesh
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ability to develop, organize and implement advocacy, social mobilization and media plans, micro-plans and social maps.
∎ Ability to express clearly and concisely ideas and concepts in oral, and writing in Bangla and English.
∎ Strong team player with well-developed networking, IPC and negotiation skills.
∎ Strong advocacy, networking and partnership building skills with experience working with rural social networks/groups.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ At least 5 years progressively responsible work experience in project management.
∎ At least one year experience in the area of social/community mobilization projects (whether as volunteer, service provider, supervisor, student etc.).
∎ Maximum age 40 years, relax for experienced up to 45 years.
∎ Computer skills with various office applications, internet navigation.
∎ Strong facilitation skills with experience as a facilitator/trainer of adults in rural settings.
∎ Good command of the English language.
∎ Strong knowledge on computer and skill on Motorcycle driving with valid license is desired.
