Job Context:
∎ Samaj Kalayan O Unnayan Shangstha (SKUS) envisions a peaceful, prosperous, and poverty-free society that ensures everyone`s basic needs and rights. SKUS has since the 2017 Rohingya refugee influx worked in Cox`s Bazar district with children adolescents, women, and men. Based on children`s, adolescents`, women`s, and human rights, SKUS has established quality learning and protection centers with support from different international donors, including UN agencies. SKUS has an agreement with CHS Alliance for the project of services for the Rohingya community at Rohingya Camp in Ukhiya Upazila under Cox`s Bazar District.
∎ SKUS is implementing the "Establish Community Engagement in All PSEAH Processes Using a Victim/Survivor-Centered Approach in Ukhiya Upazila of Cox`s Bazar" project with the support of CHS Alliance. The project aims to to give voice to victims/survivors of SEAH, improve and adapt existing principles and approaches to PSEAH in ways that are more accountable and lead to improved outcomes for victims/survivors in Cox`s Bazar refugee camps, Bangladesh.
∎ SKUS is looking for a suitable candidate for the immediate appointment of Project Coordinator-PSEAH for the project mentioned above with the support of CHS Alliance.
∎ Duration: Up to JUNE 2024 (Contingent on Donor Extension and government approval).
∎ Job Location: Ukhiya Cox`s Bazar

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Project Coordinator for the project titled "Establish Community Engagement in All PSEAH Processes Using a Victim/Survivor-Centered Approach in Ukhiya Upazila of Cox's Bazar" project will be responsible for leading the overall project activities. S/he will lead the total project team in Rohingya refugee camp at Ukhiya of Cox's Bazar district maintaining close collaboration with respective Project staff through planning, implementing, and managing the delivery as per the project's requirement. S/he will also work closely with other component team members of the project, other project teams, stakeholders, relevant government officials, private sector, non-government, and civil society organizations
∎ Development of a strategic implementation plan based on impact logic, project objective, sub-objectives and Detail Implementation Plan (DIP) of activity according to the approved application,
∎ Lead and coordinate the project through maintaining project cycle management for achieving the project's goal, outcome, actions/activities and expected results which are specified in the project proposal.
∎ Ensure timely, effective implementation and delivery of project activities as per project work plan by ensuring quality and setting strategies and guidelines.
∎ Guide and support the project team to ensure effective project implementation reaching the targets according to the donor agreement.
∎ Ensure that the project's M&E system is in place and activity review takes place during regular intervals to assure the quality of the interventions and follow the implementation plans of the project.
∎ Ensure that work is planned and organized in a way that meets the needs of the beneficiaries in the most cost-effective manner possible.
∎ Maintain and monitor project plans, project schedules and working hours.
∎ Provide need-based support to the Finance department, provide leadership and support in problem solving, key decision making, quality control, technical input and advice as well as planning, executing, and monitoring of the project activities.
∎ Work closely with the finance department to ensure effective management of the project's budget. Monitor, evaluate and ensure that the project activities are consistent with plans, budget lines with full compliance to donor's regulations.
∎ Coordination with various stakeholders, including CHS Alliance, SKUS management, local administration, local government, PSEA Network, relevant sectors and sub-sectors, NGOs and regular participation in the sub-sector meeting, including coordination meetings as representatives of SKUS.
∎ Identify gaps in the workforce and organize appropriate training for staff and volunteers as required.
∎ Monitoring of project activities, monitoring of project staff and reporting.
∎ Reporting to SKUS management, CHS Alliance, government and other stakeholders.
∎ Conflict management within the team and with other actors as required.
∎ Any other activity directed by the supervisor.
∎ Project planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of SKUS's interventions within the targeted area.
∎ Ensure effective coordination with different stakeholders including donors, local administration, and local government for PSEAH project activities at field level.
∎ Ensure that program activities are done in a manner so that result-based outputs are achieved.
∎ Support team members for the successful execution of different activities at the field level of the project.
∎ The PSEAH Coordinator must follow the humanitarian guiding principles, namely humanity, neutrality, impartiality, independence, do no harm, acceptance, self-determination, confidentiality, non-judgmental, and purposeful expression of feelings.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years

∎ Must be will to work under extreme pressure of project deadlines and organizational demands.
∎ She/he has to work to ensure a conducive participatory approach in the center.

Salary: Tk. 88000 (Monthly)
