Job Context:
∎ The Project Coordinator will ensure implementation of project at the field level. The overall responsibility is to planning, organizing, implementation, monitoring and supervision and coordination of project activities across the board to achieve the project objectives as outlined in the approved project proposal. S/He will guide and supervise a number of professionals who are directly responsible to execute the project at the field level. He will keep close liaison with the Component Manager of USAID`s Promoting Peace & Justice, District & Session Judge, and District Legal Aid Officer.
∎ He will oversee the fund management, personnel management, project administration and procurement, coordination and collaboration with different stakeholders including Govt. counterparts, ensure performance based monitoring of project activities, ensure staff training and development, ensure capacity development of service providers, ensure total compliance of donor requirements and produce different periodical reports as per need.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Planning:
∎ Develop annual program planning based on the project proposal;
∎ To ensure the quality of legal education for beneficiaries as per the project plan;
∎ Ensure development of monthly and quarterly work plans of other senior staff members in accordance with the overall operational plan;
∎ Update plans in accordance with monitoring data and other factors in the planning cycle;
∎ Assist Admin. section in procurement of project materials and equipments;
∎ Ensure recruitment of all project personnel and basic training on their duties and responsibilities;
∎ Ensure training calendar is prepared based on project plan;
∎ Ensure M&E system are in place to effectively monitor the project from different level;
∎ Ensure regular fund flow and track the expenditure against the approved budget;
∎ Produce different reports and submit to donor on a regular basis;
∎ Supervision, monitoring and implementation:
∎ Allocate responsibilities to other team members and ensure effectively implementation of project;
∎ To ensure the quality of activities for developing capacity of UP members and the civil society members;
∎ To develop project work plan and budget and ensure the proper implementation;
∎ To monitor the project budget for keeping track project expenditure on regular basis and to ensure UKAID compliance in every aspect of project implementation;
∎ To conduct a periodic review, assess project performance (whether on track), and provide feedback and take measures for improvement;
∎ Ensure that staff are used to full capacity and have an opportunity to develop capacity and learn new skills;
∎ Ensure that Upazila & Union-wise activity plan is developed based on project work plan;
∎ Ensure that defined objectives and outputs are being achieved;
∎ Ensure furniture, fixture and equipment's are procured following the procurement policy and send to project offices;
∎ Ensure that project activities are in line with the overall monthly/yearly work plan;
∎ Ensure that all project staff have well understanding on their job description and accordingly perform their duties;
∎ Ensure each staff have their monthly work plan and follow up accordingly;
∎ Ensure regular communication between line manager and other section are in place;
∎ Ensure that field staff have adequate understanding in using M&E tools and properly using at field;
∎ Ensure IEC materials are developed, printed and are using at field level;
∎ Ensure national legal aid day observation are held in line with the govt. plan;
∎ Liaison with donor and associated stakeholders:
∎ Keep contact with donor and district legal aid officer for various purposes;
∎ Ensure compliance of donor policy and procedures;
∎ Submission of various reports on time;
∎ Maintain coordination with DLAC, UZLAC, UPLAC and other NGOs/Agencies.
∎ Documentation and Reporting:
∎ Ensure reports are prepared and submitted to donor and associated stakeholders;
∎ Document the lesion learning's and best practices like abstracts, case studies and publish in prior consultation with the Component Manager;
∎ Ensure Upazila Coordinators are maintaining all documents/reports as per requirements
∎ Ensure smooth and frequent communication between Legal aid committee's and Project offices;
∎ Conduct mid-term project evaluation.
∎ Advocacy and Coordination with Stakeholders:
∎ Ensure to maintain good public relations with stakeholders e.g. Judiciary, administration, local government officials, referral centers, legal aid NGOs, community leaders, and target populations;
∎ Accompany visitors at field as and when necessary and brief them on project activities.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years

Salary: Tk. 34650 (Monthly)
