Additional Requirements:
  • Age 40 to 45 years
  • At least 5 years of experience working in project management or community engagement, preferably in the field of civic rights, governance, or local development.  
  • Proven experience in community mobilization, stakeholder engagement, and capacity building for CSOs and local communities.
  • Strong understanding of civic engagement, citizen participation, and local governance issues.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with fluency in Bangla and English (both written and spoken).
  • Experience in preparing high-quality project reports and documentation.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Computer skills with computer software e. g MS office, internet.


Responsibilities & Context:
  • Collaborate with local stakeholders, including community members, CSOs, youth networks, and local authorities, to promote active civic engagement and citizen participation in local governance.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local government bodies, community leaders, and other relevant stakeholders to facilitate smooth project implementation.

  • Organize and facilitate capacity-building workshops for community groups, CSOs, and local youth on topics related to civic rights, responsibilities, and governance.

  • Provide technical support to community-based organizations (CBOs) and CSOs on advocacy, social accountability tools, and monitoring of public services.

  • Monitor project activities regularly to assess progress, challenges, and impact, ensuring that all project activities meet their expected outcomes.·        

  • Prepare and submit regular project reports (monthly, quarterly, and annual) to the Project Manager, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and lessons learned.

  • Document success stories, challenges, and innovative solutions emerging from the project to contribute to knowledge sharing and learning.

  • Work closely with the Finance and Admin Officer to manage procurement processes, logistics, and other administrative tasks.

  • Assist the Project Manager and ED-partner NGOs in planning and organizing project activities, ensuring that they align with the overall project objectives.

  • Develop detailed work plans for project implementation, outlining specific activities, timelines, and resource requirements.

  • Oversee the work of Upazila Coordinators, ensuring that they have the necessary resources and support to carry out their tasks effectively.

  • Coordinate and monitor field activities, such as community meetings, workshops, and training sessions, to ensure they meet project objectives.

  • Facilitate dialogue and collaboration between different community groups, fostering an environment of trust and cooperation.
