Job Context:
∎ JAGO NARI is going to implement REE CALL 2021 Project, Supported by OXFAM at two Unions under Barguna Sadar Upazilla.
∎ JAGO NARI is seeking application from the appropriate and qualified candidate who has the nationality of Bangladesh and has willingness to work community level.
∎ Job Duration: 5 Month (with probable extension)
∎ Job Nature: Full-time and spend 60-70% time at field level

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure preparation of Detail Implementation OXFAM (DIP) for implementation of the Project activities covering the area of operation.
∎ Ensure that the monthly schedule is prepared for all the staffs under the area of operation and activities are done as per schedule.
∎ Ensure necessary logistic and technical support from the central office.
∎ Monitor the progress of activities to ensure that the activities are done in a qualitative and quantitative way within the stipulated timeframe.
∎ Ensure proper planning, designing, organizing and facilitation of the orientation/discussion sessions, meetings, workshops, seminars etc. at the Union, Upazila and District level.
∎ Ensure visibility of the donors and other partner organizations as applicable.
∎ Ensure preparation of the budget for the project having input from all concern.
∎ Control over expenses through Budget Expenditure Summary (BES).
∎ Ensure that the staffs are getting necessary logistics support on time for smooth implementation of the project activities.
∎ Ensure that the financial report is prepared for the organization, other partners including the donor agencies on monthly, quarterly and annual basis and submit on time.
∎ Plan the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) activities for the project as per Project Proposal (PP) and include the activities in the DIP.
∎ Review the monitoring activities of the staff and gather the information through MIS and generate report for all concern and undertake corrective measures as per monitoring findings.
∎ Participate in internal audit/evaluation process and take corrective measures as per findings of the audit/evaluation report.
∎ Submit monthly, Quarterly and yearly report to the Program director / Chief Executive on the progress and achievements; also report on weak points and suggested remedies.
∎ Submit monthly target and achievement report to head office
∎ Ensure that project staff establish and maintain liaison/coordination with the local level stakeholders.
∎ Establishing and maintaining liaison/ coordination with other projects/ departments within the organization.
∎ Establish and maintain liaison/coordination with the partner organizations including GOs, NGOs and donor agencies relevant to the project and Local Government Development Programming.
∎ Establish and maintain liaison/coordination with local administration at the District, Upazila and Union level.
∎ Maintain regular communication with the partner organizations and local administration and LGIs for smooth operation of the program activities.
∎ Participate in the Senior Management Meetings of JAGO NARI to share project updates and ideas/views for the development of the project and other projects as well.
∎ Undertake staff development training as part of the related project activities and undertake orientation, discussion sessions etc. to address the staff development needs thereby ensuring effective implementation of the project activities.
∎ Supervise the staffs and assist them for their career development and improving performance.
∎ Plan and implement staff performance appraisal as staff development mechanism.
∎ Ensure that the staffs are well aware of the gender policy, child protection policy, human rights, and governance issues and following those in dealing with the colleagues and project partners including the project participants.
∎ Ensure that an enabling environment is prevailing at the work place and staffs are working well enjoying equal opportunities irrespective of male and female.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ At least 5 year(s) experience in managerial Position
∎ Minimum of 5 years experiences in DRR, Climate Change Adaptation and Education related project management,
∎ Experience in implementing, designing and guiding the implementation of the project activities in the rural areas;
∎ Experienced in developing project implementation strategy, guidelines and management tools;
∎ Experienced in presenting project status in the high-level meeting and workshop with the donors;
∎ GO & NGO officials; innovative, dynamic, hardworking and have good interpersonal relationship and ability to work in a team;
∎ Experienced in communication, liaison and collaborating with the GO/NGO officials;
∎ Have knowledge about budget preparation, monitoring of expenses, report preparation at the different stage of the project;
∎ Good knowledge on monitoring and evaluation activities, designing monitoring tools for the project;
∎ Good communication skill in English and Bengali; good knowledge on staff supervision, mentoring, coaching and development;
∎ Good skills in computer operation especially with MS-Word, power point and spread sheet, internet and email applications;
∎ Willing to work in pressure situation and interested to visit the remote areas of Bangladesh.
∎ Good skill on computer and have valid motorcycle driving license

Salary: Tk. 52908 (Monthly)
