∎ JAGO NARI is a non-government development organization in the central coastal region of Bangladesh. The main focusing areas of work are women’s empowerment, Climate Change Adaptation, Health & Nutrition, Disaster Risk Reduction, and Education. Recently JAGO NARI implemented a new Project in the Women's Climate Change areas with the technical support of CARE Bangladesh. The project title is “Women-Led in Emergencies (WLiE) Project” The objective of the project is to Strengthen the organizational, financial, and technical capacities of WROs so that they can participate in preventing and responding to climate security risks at the local level regional and international level. The Project Officer-Gender will be responsible for effectively planning, coordinating, implementing, and monitoring gender-specific activities under the Women-Led in Emergencies Project. This role will focus on ensuring gender equality, women's empowerment, and the prevention of gender-based violence (GBV) in emergency settings. S/he will work with the Women Right Organization to prevention, response and adaptation to climate Change. JAGO NARI is seeking a Project Officer-Gender for this project. S/he will play a vital role in Gender Mainstreaming, Capacity Building, Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E), Advocacy and Stakeholder Engagement, and Documentation and Reporting.
