Educational Requirements:
∎ Master's degree in Agriculture (especially in Horticulture/Agronomy/Soil Science).
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 7 year(s)
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 7 years' experience within the area of agricultural extension, research, livelihood, inclusive market development and partnership management.
∎ Previous experience in Cox's Bazar and knowledge of the context will be preferred.
∎ Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Bangla, including ability to present the project findings to different audiences.
∎ Skills in organizing and conduct training, workshop, etc.
∎ Knowledge on concept note development for fundraising will be added value.
∎ Excellent skills in monitoring and reporting.
∎ Excellent interpersonal communication/ problem solving skills, strong value based commitment to right based approach.
∎ Good computer skills in MS Office.
∎ Ability to work in a multicultural context as a flexible and respectful team player.
∎ Understanding of gender, protection and human rights.
∎ Strong networking, interpersonal and presentation skills.
∎ Contribute constructively to a working environment based on mutual respect and trust
∎ Ability to cope with stress and work under difficult circumstances
∎ Honest, encourages openness and transparency.
∎ Working days from Sunday to Thursday with 40 hours per week. This position may be required to work some overtime hours.
∎ Available to travel to the field on a regular basis to provide his/ her technical support.
∎ Willing to ride motor bike with valid license (preferred).
∎ S/he will follow ICCO HR, Admin and Finance related policies.
Salary:
∎ Competitive salary package depending on education and experience.
