Job Context:
∎ Development Wheel (DEW) is a national level NGO working in different areas of Bangladesh with the vision to have a society where all people enjoy equal rights and equitable access to employment and adequate resources necessary for their livelihoods and live in dignity; DEW invites applications from the experienced professionals with proven track record for the positions of "Project Coordinator" who must have clear understanding, knowledge and practical working experience on Right Based Approach to lead a Agriculture Right Programme.
∎ Location: The position is based in Dhaka and frequent field visit in Mymensingh will be required for the position.
∎ Job Nature: Project Based

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Project Coordinator will be responsible for day-to- day field level implementation and management for assigned programme/project. Project Coordinator will report to the Executive Director.
∎ Broadly he/she would:
∎ Assist to the Executive Director to develop project annual report, project completion report, concept note and project proposal development and Expression of interests in line with the organization.
∎ Guide and supervise field based team to ensure effective implementation of the project/programme activities in the field.
∎ Assist field based team Mobilizes in developing and maintaining farmer groups in the project areas.
∎ Maintain network and close liaison with district and sub-district level stakeholders especially DAE, DOF, DOL, BAU, sub district and district administration for smooth running of the project activities.
∎ Coordinate, organize and conduct training and FGDs with target project participants to have a thorough understanding of their training and other needs.
∎ Coordinate and organize all the training courses and workshops at district and sub-district level
∎ Conducting baseline study, mid-term review and other relevant study
∎ Prepare and regularly update producer groups' profile/database and other necessary records
∎ Quarterly/annual financial and narrative report for donors, annual report for the organization etc.
∎ Develop & design organizational Boucher, leaflet, invitation card, manual and newsletter etc
∎ Update organizational website regularly

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 55 years
∎ 5-10 years progressive job experience in filed level pro-poor development project management is preferable
∎ Experience in small and Marginal farmers' group, organization and association development and maintenance
∎ Must have proven leadership quality
∎ Must have good communicative ability and flare for developing quick friendly relationship with mostly illiterate poor and vulnerable population
∎ Must have good facilitation skills
∎ Must have valid driving license to ride motorbike
∎ Must have compute skills specially MS office program
∎ Experience in implementing and monitoring.
∎ Skills on budget preparation and management.
∎ Proficiency in written and spoken English and Bengali
∎ Computer knowledge both in English and Bangla is required. SPSS and Photoshop software
