∎ A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a managerial role, with at least 3 years focusing on climate change, emergency response, gender-based violence, governance, rights-based approaches, and program management
∎ Substantial experience in collaborating with marginalized communities, including persons with disabilities and their organizations
∎ Strong understanding in emergency response,
∎ Excellent communication, interpersonal, and reporting skills are essential.
∎ Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, resources, and multiple tasks simultaneously.
∎ Experience of procurement – acquiring products & services, contract management, procurement procedures.
∎ An understanding of the practical realities and cultural dimensions of working in the assigned location.
∎ Fluency in English and Bengali languages is essential.Ability to work as part of a team in a remote area and challenging environment.
∎ Must have a valid motorcycle driving license.
∎ Ability to manage Risk & opportunity– including identification, mitigation and managing project risks,
∎ Excellent planning, organizational and time management skills, able to work well under pressure both proactively and re actively and priorities a challenging workload
∎ Proficient user of Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and Power point
∎ Strong communication and interpersonal skills
∎ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
∎ Excellent verbal and writing communication skills in English and Bangla Language

∎ Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, including government representatives, civil societies, local government institutions (LGIs), youth groups, NGOs, CBOs, and OPD leaders at union and upazila levels
∎ Plan, initiate, and review external communications to promote project activities across various platforms
∎ Prepare timely and accurate project reports, capturing achievements, challenges, and lessons learned.
∎ Supporting and advising HQ level team members on their visits and project documentation

∎ CDD is accepting application for the position of Project Coordinator under a project titled, ‘Emergency Response for Vulnerable People in Cyclone Remal-Affected Bagerhat and Satkhira Districts, Bangladesh.’ to be implemented with the support of Malteser International. The project is aimed to restore and enhance the livelihoods and socio-economic conditions of vulnerable, marginalized, and coastal communities, including persons with disabilities, affected by Cyclone Remal. The duration of the project is till 31st December 2024.
