Job Context:
∎ Location: Dakop Upazila of Khulna District and Sarankhola and Mongla Upazilas of Bagerhat District
∎ Job Nature: Full-time (Contractual- Up to March 2025, subject to the availability of fund and satisfactory performance.)
∎ Project Brief: CNRS is one of the implementing partners of Enhance Voice for the Inclusion of the Vulnerable and their Empowerment (EVOLVE) project of HELVETAS Bangladesh. The project has been designed by HELVETAS in close collaboration with CNRS to facilitate inclusive dialogue and partnerships between CSOs, CSO networks and Union Parishads (UPs) in participatory planning, budgeting, execution, and accountability towards climate smart and gender responsive strategies and services. EVOLVE aims to build the capacity of CSOs and their networks to empower climate affected communities and disadvantaged women in selected 14 UPs of the specific three upazilas of Khulna (Dakop) and Bagerhat (Mongla, Sarankhola) districts. EVOLVE is Co-funded by the European Union and implementing by the two co-applicants (i) The Centre for Natural Resource Studies (CNRS) and (ii) the Development Organization of the Rural Poor (DORP) in the project locations coordinating by HELVETAS Bangladesh.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Part I: Job Responsibilities and Tasks
∎ A. Coordination and Communication
∎ Ensure effective liaison with community / partners / CSOs/ UPs/UZPs /District/LG institutions and other stakeholders who are directly or indirectly involved with the program.
∎ Building effective network with service providing organizations, partners, CSO's & GoBs (local to national level)private sectors /
∎ Create friendly atmosphere which will attract service providers and will establish effective communication & smooth working relations.
∎ Ensure effective coordination and collaboration with HELVETAS Bangladesh, other Partner organization and intra project.
∎ Facilitate different types of meetings, seminars with different stakeholders and arrange joint event with other implementing partner of the project.
∎ B. Project Implementation
∎ Lead the unit-based team for the successful process facilitation for initiating Community led plans in his/ her defined program areas.
∎ Facilitate team through planning and implementing staff development training considering the support requirements that emerged from the community led action plans.
∎ Ensure periodical review of the accomplished activities and lead the team in preparation of way forward strategy.
∎ Monitor field activities on regular basis and provide feedback to respective units.
∎ Should have the knowledge and skill on reporting and multi-layered monitoring, planning and budgeting.
∎ Good knowledge on the national and international framework, laws and policies (SDG Target, 8th five-year planning of Bangladesh, UP & RTI Act 2009, etc.).
∎ Ability to develop Modules and provide technical support to the project team for implementing capacity building activities for CSOs, CBOs, CSO Networks, Union Parishand and other stakeholders of the project.
∎ Facilitate his/her team for successful introduction and implementation of outcome monitoring
∎ Facilitate and ensure community consultation sessions and community led action plans (CLAP).
∎ Enhance team spirit and ensure team approach in planning, implementation and monitoring the progress.
∎ Assist Program team to develop strategy on efficient use of UP & UZP for project implementation.
∎ Financial and Administrative Management and reporting
∎ C. General
∎ Conduct regular/monthly and special meetings.
∎ Attend training/orientation as and when asked by the Management of Project Implementation.
∎ Perform any other task as and when assigned by the Management.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least five years of experience in the relevant field with direct engagement at the community level
∎ Proven experience of working in collaboration and partnership to deliver diversified programs
∎ Experience in working with community / partners / CSOs and Local Government Institutions is an added advantage
∎ Experience in network and consortia
∎ Experience in humanitarian sector/DRR/Climate Change/governance especially in the coastal area
∎ Must have experience to develop Module on capacity building
∎ Experience in data management Collection, Input, analysis
∎ Experience in designing tools and strategies for data collection, analysis and production of reports
∎ Understanding on LGIs structures, and Standing Orders
∎ Good reporting, communication, networking and training facilitation skills
∎ Having non-discriminatory and gender-sensitive perceptions along with safeguarding
∎ To protect children in connection
∎ Respectful to safeguarding policy
∎ Having Motorcycle Riding Skills with valid motorcycle driving license; however, learners must commit to obtaining a full license within one month, may apply
∎ Willing to travel and work in remote areas across the country
∎ Good communication, facilitation and motivational skills.
∎ Track record of facilitating capacity-building trainings and workshops involving multiple stakeholders
∎ Ability to multi-task without less supervisory support and manage competing demands across time zones
∎ Efficient computer literacy. Especially in Microsoft Office Package and computer literacy (word, excel, PowerPoint, Kobo Tool Box etc.)
∎ Proven ability to work in an intercultural environment
∎ Strong ability to work within a diverse team
∎ Ability to work under pressure and under a multi-sectoral / multi-disciplined team approach

Salary:
∎ 74,000/month (inclusive all).
