Job Purpose

  • This role is responsible for developing strategies, implementation of the activities, tracking project objectives and financial performance, coordinating with the stakeholders regarding projects on improving mental health under BHP.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide management and technical support for project implementation and coordination with different stakeholders to implement mental health related projects.

  • Develop plans and implement strategies to achieve the project goals in the working area.

  • Provide support in mental health related project development and proposal writing for fund raising.

  • Provide supportive supervision and facilitate field activities with the help of Manager, Field Operation Managers for achieving programme targets.

  • Prepare/ revise project budgets and financial tracking of expenditure.

  • Disseminate project findings, lesson learns and best practices in national and field level meetings, seminars, conferences and workshops.

  • Coordinate with different departments of BRAC, e.g. MIS & Monitoring unit of BHP, Finance & Accounts, Procurement, HRD, BLD, Monitoring & Investigation and Audit.

  • Analyze MIS and program data to provide various reports and take decision for the improvement of the program.

  • Coordinate and liaise with different development partners in the health sector at international, national, local levels.

SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme`s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.

  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.

  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
