Job Context:
∎ Bangladesh Nari Sramik Kendra (BNSK) is a development organization, dedicated to promote and protect rights of the migrant workers especially for women migrant workers through (i) Mass awareness campaigns for safe orderly and regular migration; (ii) Capacity building for potential migrants and socioeconomic reintegration of returnee migrants; and (iii) advocacy to promote and protect rights of the migrants and victims of trafficking.
∎ BNSK has been implementing a project titled Eliminating Migrations Induced Problems for Women Migrants with PROKAS, British Council to create an impact in service delivery in migration sector of Bangladesh. It plans to see the Overall impact in women migration is -Reduced incidence of Modern Slavery of women migrant workers of Bangladesh through economic, social, and legal empowerment.
∎ BNSK is looking for a competent and self-motivated individual for the following position:
∎ The position is based in BNSK head office in Dhaka.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Reporting to the Executive Director of BNSK, the Project Manager leads all day-to-day program operations, with functional responsibility for project management, operational strategy development, and projects administration. Responsibilities also include production of program reports; proper maintenance of program implementation track records with project plan; accurate processing of official program communications; and administration of a comprehensive set of controls designed to mitigate implementation risk, enhance the accuracy of the BNSK's reported project goal and results, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted program principles (GAPP), adhere to donor's program management standards, and result in flawless program monitoring. The Project Manager supervises the project staffs in the areas of program administration, new-hire on boarding, and other related functions in collaboration and coordination with financial management of BNSK.
∎ Management Responsibilities:
∎ Provide leadership to program and project implementation areas of BNSK.
∎ Provide useful program insights to help make better decisions about formulating and executing strategy, and provide guidance and analysis to executive and operational management to improve results.
∎ Oversee all project planning, management and motivate the project team.
∎ Monitor project activities, project expenditure, and coordinate work with consultants, organizations and volunteers related with the project.
∎ Coordinate intervention development, implementation and management under the project in 02 divisions of Bangladesh- Sylhet and Dhaka.
∎ Coordinate project activities to achieve project goal and objectives aligning with BNSK mission, visions and objectives and policies.
∎ Ensure monitoring of operations management over the project areas.
∎ Ensuring project activities comply with the policies and regulations of the donor and BNSK.
∎ Oversee the development and execution of project deliverables including project planning, budgeting, action plans and monitoring processes.
∎ Submit activity reports, meeting minutes and financial reports on regular basis to the donor and BNSK financial management.
∎ Oversee the preparation and submission of annual activity-based project budgets as well as monthly and quarterly financial reports
∎ Ensures close collaboration and coordination with partners to guarantee smooth implementation of activities and achievement of results as specified in the grant agreements.
∎ Shoot troubles arisen in project problems and implements project activities with creative solutions.
∎ Transactional Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure that all program transactions are processed accurately, in a timely manner, and in accordance with generally accepted program principles of donors and BNSK.
∎ Develop, implement, and maintain processes and procedures that are current best practices related to program and activity implementation.
∎ Manage, oversee, process (as appropriate), and act as backup for processing all of the following transactions: staffs management, program management, executive management in accordance with financial management.
∎ Perform month-end activity reporting, including check-backs with financial management, and updating schedules.
∎ Maintain an orderly reporting and filing system.
∎ Reporting Responsibilities:
∎ Assist in issuing timely, accurate, and complete program reports for all levels, including Executive committee, executives, and management.
∎ Assist the financial team in drafting audited financial statements and all tax returns.
∎ Coordinate the preparation of program information in the annual report.
∎ Recommend and report upon benchmarks against which to measure organizational program performance.
∎ Calculate and issue program implementation and operating metrics.
∎ Assist in production of monitoring reports, annual reports, and forecasts.
∎ Calculate variances from the project plan and report the significant issues to management.
∎ Provide for a system of management program reports along with cost reports.
∎ Provide program analyses and models as needed, in particular for donor funds and contract negotiations.
∎ Compliance Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare and assist-monitoring team with developing monitoring schedules for periodic and the annual report.
∎ Prepare and assist financial team with developing audit schedules for the annual audit.
∎ Suggest improvements in processes to increase organizational effectiveness.
∎ Train and coach program team on day-to-day program management and report to Executive management.
∎ Oversee different regulatory registration filings including regional and international memberships and partnerships for BNSK.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Development management is preferred but not required.
∎ Minimum of 5 years of development experience, including financial management and analytical ability (including gathering, evaluating, presenting, and reporting program information to management and external stakeholders).
∎ Solid experience in coordinating program activities and managing reporting and analysis.
∎ Nonprofit experience, with experience with fund/grants management preferred.
∎ Proficiency with knowledge development, knowledge management, online reporting software management, Report writing, Editing and excellent Excel skills.
∎ Efficient to stress management, conflict management, staff management including CBO organization and management.
