Job Context:
∎ JOB PURPOSE: The Programme Coordinator leads the implementation of a project portfolio which incorporates doner funded project (s), capacity building interventions for RMG sector and corporate training programmes. In addition, the Programme Coordinator will assist the Director - Social Compliance on strategic direction, project proposal development, report preparation and internal capacity development for contributing to Decent Work programme for women in Bangladesh.
∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES:
∎ Ensures the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme`s goals on safeguarding implementation. Acts as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practices, promotes and endorses the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follows the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensures implementation of all project activities under the social compliance portfolio.
∎ Supports partner organization(s) for implementing development projects.
∎ Assists Director, Social Compliance and Safeguarding in making strategic decisions and concept note development for attracting development partners.
∎ Works with BRAC's factory-based clients for training needs assessment and service development.
∎ Provides guidance and jointly works for fundraising activities and project proposal development.
∎ Works with staff members and develops budgets, and procedures to ensure the quality implementation.
∎ Maintains liaison with other BRAC programs for the purposes of cross learning and team development.
∎ Monitors project activities and provides solutions for overcoming implementation challenges.
∎ Prepares annual reports and any other relevant communication materials.
∎ Communicates with the donor's focal point for reporting the project progress and other relevant issues.
∎ Manages a team with a diverse array of talents and responsibilities.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Have a clear understanding about violence against women and decent work context of the country.
∎ Have basic understanding about gender equality and gender transformative approach.
∎ High level understanding about project cycle management and partnership management.
∎ Excellent interpersonal, people management and project implementation skills.
∎ Excellent skills in organizing, monitoring and client management.
∎ Skills in written and verbal communication in both English and Bangla.
∎ Advanced level skills in MS Office and data management.
∎ Excellent skills in report writing and documentation.
∎ Minimum 8-10 years of experience in relevant field. Experience in managing and implementing donor funded project, managing EU funded project, BRANDs with RMG sector/Compliance Audit Firm/Trade Organizations/Training Firms will be an added advantage
