Job Responsibilities:
∎ Job Summary: ActionAid Bangladesh in its Fifth Country Strategic Paper (CSP) entitled "Young People Leading Change" (2018-2023) placed Young People as a Strategic Priority. The CSP has given priority to address the youth demographic dividend while focusing on the issues such as. strengthen agency of young people, their network and partners that promotes social cohesion; young people, specially young women and minorities are represented and have opportunities for leadership; access to quality skills development and sustainable income through on opportunity for decent work, sustainable development and resilience livelihood.

∎ In addition, ActionAid International Strategy Paper "Strategy 2028: Action for Global Justice" which has placed at the centre engagement with youth and women over the next 8 years. To pursue this strategic document which focusing on the Rights, Resilience and Redistribution of the excluded and marginalised communities, including the young people, ActionAid Bangladesh along with ActionAid Denmark facilitate a Delegation responsibility called Youth Community of Interest (YCoI) with the support of Youth Working Group at Federation level.

∎ The role of the Programme Officer includes programme identification, development and implementation; advocacy and partnership development; support the AA's Local Rights Programmes (LRPs), capacity development of young people, compiling report, support to coordinate youth work inside and outside of the ActionAid, coordinate with the various youth platform at various level. The incumbent should have a strong knowledge and skill on youth issues and governance structure in Bangladesh.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Knowledge and experience on management, research, networking & Human Rights Based Approach (HRBA)
∎ At least 3 years of work experience in a developmental organization.
Salary:
∎ Tk. 60264 (Monthly)
∎ Monthly Gross Salary will be 60,264/- with other admissible benefits such as festival bonus, provident fund, gratuity, medical benefit, group life insurance etc.
