Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Oversee implementation of project activities, including mobilizing 4,860 farmers into SHGs and FPOs, establishing farmer field schools, aggregation points, and demonstration plots.
∎ Develop action plans and ensure timely execution of project deliverables in alignment with goals.
∎ Build partnerships with government agencies, private sectors, and financial institutions to strengthen market access and value chains.
∎ Facilitate linkage meetings, buyers’ workshops, and multi-stakeholder platforms.
∎ Conduct baseline and impact assessments, participatory evaluations, and environmental monitoring to measure progress and ensure compliance with USAID guidelines.
∎ Organize training for farmers, SHGs, FPO executives, and project staff on agricultural practices, business management, financial literacy, and environmental awareness.
∎ Lead community-level mobilization, awareness campaigns, and school gardening initiatives.
∎ Prepare and submit progress reports, ensuring accountability through grievance redressal mechanisms.
∎ Develop and disseminate photobooks, video documentaries, and host learning-sharing workshops to showcase project successes.
∎ Supervise staff, manage project finances, and maintain effective coordination among stakeholders.
∎ Conduct rigorous field visits to Phultala, Tero-khada, and Digholia Upazilas for monitoring and planning.
∎ Conduct capacity gap and needs assessments and support capacity-building initiatives in collaboration with M&E staff.
∎ Prepare timely reports (monthly, quarterly, annual & Ad-hoc) for KMSS, USAID, and BRAC.

∎ Khulna Mukti Seba Sangstha (KMSS) being a sub grantee has been implementing “USAID Bangladesh America Maitree Activity (BAMA)” (Strengthening Climate-smart Vegetable and Native Chicken Value Chain in Bangladesh (C4VNCVC) funded by USAID and managed by BRAC. The project duration is from November 2024 to November 2026. The project is been implemented in Three Upazilas (Phultala, Tero-khada & Digholia) of Khulna District. The incumbent will work as a Program Manager (PM) for the project. The project thematic Area is Agriculture and Food Security.
∎ Job Location: Khulna District (Any of the Fultala, Terothada or Digholia Upazila).
