Responsibilities & Context:

The incumbent will be responsible for implementation of the program related to mathematics and relevant programs. The program associate will be the key to designing and planning mathematic-related programs, facilitating learning sessions, implementing and organizing events, monitoring activity risk and impact, documenting and archiving the program details, and submitting progress reports to the authority in time.

Key Areas of accountability include but are not limited to-

I. Planning and Designing

• Planning and developing training program ideas relevant to the mathematics, detailing out the work plan, defining the program scopes, assisting in developing training curriculum on mathematics etc.

• Tracking progress of planned activities on a regular basis.

II. Implementation and Coordination

• Provide technical and logistic support to implement the planned activities as per requirement.

• Facilitate and coordinate trainings and workshops.

• Frequent field visits based on a plan to supervise the program implementation.

Required Educational Qualifications and Experience

• Graduate or postgraduate degree in mathematics, applied mathematics, or any other relevant field.

• Freshers with voluntary experience are encouraged to apply.

• Professional or voluntary experience in math-relevant activities would be an advantage.

Required Competencies

• Strong knowledge of mathematical concepts, problem-solving techniques, and logical reasoning.

• Previous experience in teaching/training math, preferably in youth-centered or non-formal education settings, will be an advantage.

• Having ideas on creative approaches to making mathematics fun and relatable through real-life examples and experiments for kids.

• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.

• Good at excellent facilitation and communication skills.

• Good at teamwork, rapport building, and coordination with key stakeholders is mandatory.
