Educational Requirements:
∎ Diploma in Livestock/agriculture from any Public / Private Institute/ recognized institute.
∎ B.Sc in relevant subject is given preference;

Experience Requirements:
∎ 1 to 2 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Program Assistant (Technical) will work under the supervision of Technical Officer and his/her specific tasks are, but not limited to, the followings:

∎ Assist to ensure timely and quality implementation project activities;
∎ Identify and implement new/improved environment friendly Livestock technologies and demonstration;
∎ Assist to establish linkage with value chain actors for better profitability of Micro-enterprises (MEs);
∎ Assess training need and facilitate training in adoption of Good Livestock Practice by MEs;
∎ Assist team to organize meetings, training, workshops, seminars etc;
∎ Collect and collate data and ensure proper documentation of Good Livestock Practice;
∎ Liaise with project support team at local level and provide technical support to MEs to grow;
∎ Intensive field monitoring to ensure proper adoption of Good Livestock Practice by MEs;
∎ Ensure implementation of relevant environmental policies, guidelines, tools, formats and document progress, learning and best practices;
∎ Perform any other duties assigned by his/her supervisor.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ At least 1-2 years extensive professional experience of development projects and project management.
∎ Having knowledge on micro enterprise development, good Livestock practice and Animal farming technologies;
∎ Ability to work under pressure;
∎ Excellent networking, negotiation and interpersonal skills;
∎ Excellent communications skills.
∎ Report-writing skills;
∎ Able to use Microsoft Office Package;
∎ Ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds;
∎ Willingness to travel to, and work in, remote areas;
∎ Ability to drive motorcycle with valid driving license is preferred.

Salary: Tk. 18000 (Monthly)
