Responsibilities & Context:

YOYOSO BD is seeking product specialists who will be responsible from sourcing to product line development for our lifestyle categories. He/she will be responsible for analyzing the market, assessing customer needs, creating and monitoring product lifecycle, performing customer research, staying current on trends and creating detailed product reports. Good understanding and in depth knowledge of sales, marketing, customer service, product planning and the company operating in a specific industry is required.

Job Responsibilities

  • Researching about different product categories, market trends, competitor analysis, and current market dynamics relevant to lifestyle products.

  • Understanding the industry specific trends and finding gaps in the market.

  • Creating and executing multiple product categories buying plan, pricing strategies, store plan that will contribute to overall sales revenue and building a fast-moving lifestyle brand in the market.

  • Planning and initiating product strategies to see how different product lines can work in the market including pricing strategies, marketing techniques and sales mechanisms.

  • Develop comprehensive documentation for all product releases and their specifications. Additionally, oversee and facilitate sales training sessions for the sales team and product team.

  • Training sales staff about different product series and specifications to facilitate product selling.

  • Collaboration with different stakeholders to develop plans to execute product strategies and sales techniques. Working closely with the sales team to educate about products, product displays, and brand guidelines to build a strong and knowledgeable product team.

  • Continuously the monitoring of product sales, executing product movement across stores, product availability. Generating reports for monitoring operations and overall category/ product performance.

  • Monitoring and controlling overall inventory of a product line/product category to support store-wise sales and better sales turnover.

  • Engaging with the sales team to understand customer feedback, facilitate different market demands, change requirements to bring change in overall product or category plans.

  • Basic commercial and supply chain activities to support in the business operations.

  • Working closely with digital marketing to facilitate product specific requirements and planning content for new arrivals to push sales.
