Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor degree in any discipline. Advanced Degree in pharmacy and or medicine with background in public health or Health Economics will be preferred.

Job Context:
∎ National Tuberculosis Control Program (NTP) invites applications from suitable candidates for the position of PSM Officer with Tuberculosis Program funded by Global Fund. The appointment will be made on Contractual Service Agreement basis for 10 months which is renewable depending on performance and availability of funds. The position will report to Line Director (TB-L and ASP) and will perform his/her duties under the overall guidance of program Manager and Procurement Expert.
∎ Posting location: NTP Headquarter (Dhaka)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Work with Procurement Expert to develop annual procurement plan of drugs, consumables and other logistics;
∎ Support National wide Forecasting and Quantification Process for Anti TB Drugs, Laboratory Reagents and other consumables;
∎ Prepare procurement related documents (e.g Request for Quotation, Expression of Interest, Request for Proposal) and Contracts agreement/ Memorandum of Understanding (MOU);
∎ Develop tools for monitoring of Collection, storage, usages and distribution of drugs and other logistics;
∎ Strengthen the Inventory Control Management of Anti TB drugs and other logistics and Prepare monthly/quarterly report on usages, distribution of drugs and other logistics;
∎ Conduct verification of stores periodically;
∎ Provide support and technical help to peripheral store personnel to enhance on job skill development;
∎ Provide assistance to the recruitment of the clearing and forwarding (C&F) agent and follow up port clearance;
∎ Coordinates and maintains liaison with different stakeholders including Directorate of Drug Administration (DGDA), Health Engineering Department (HED), Central Medical Store Deport (CMSD), WHO, UNICEF, World Bank etc on operational purpose;
Additional Requirements:
∎ Proficient at using a computer and required software (i.e. MS office, spreadsheet and database, etc.);
∎ Analytical and organizational skills applied to planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of health care;
∎ Language: Proficient in both English and Bengali.
∎ At least 3 years of working experience in related field. Working experience in TB program with National or International Organization will be counted as an additional value.
Salary:
∎ 55,000/ -(consolidated) per month inclusive of house rent and conveyance allowances. No other benefit is admissible.
