Job Context:
∎ Smart Innovations is looking for a Principal for its educational initiative, Smart Innovations School to work alongside the management focused on achieving the vision and mission through school development goals.
∎ Smart Innovations School has been setup in 2020 by Smart Innovations, a business organization as part of its CSR.
∎ The school has been conceived to be one of a kind that will bring in global education to Bangladesh and will be creating educational research-based curriculum. Technology focused delivery mechanisms will be of utmost importance to the future generations of learners and we aim to deliver that in Bangladesh.
∎ Smart Innovations School is currently an IB PYP Candidate School.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Oversee budgeting and grant proposals, and determine budget allocations for items such as supplies, materials, staff and equipment.
∎ Identify and implement plans to incorporate new facilities.
∎ Evaluate instructors and other staff members to ensure that the standardized curriculum is adhered to and identify areas of improvement.
∎ Responsible for student acquisition.
∎ Develop and implement marketing plans to facilitate admissions.
∎ Lead professional development programs for staff and encourage instructors to attend regional conferences to maintain the best academic programs.
∎ Maintain all records of the school and facilitating day-to-day activities.
∎ Promote a positive, caring environment for learning.
∎ Establish curriculum guidelines in collaboration with other administrators and instructors in the school district and ensure that guidelines are adhered to.
∎ Provide guidance and counseling services to students on their academic or vocational goals and offer assistance with behavioral modification programs.
∎ Develop and implement effective SEN (special education needs), EAL (English as additional language) and gifted and talented (G&T) students learning needs through educational best practices.
∎ Be responsible for International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP) implementation and authorization.
∎ Execute plans for Middle Years Programme (MYP) candidacy, implementation and authorization
∎ Act as liaison with education ministry and other departments for maintaining legal and compliance requirements of the school.
