Responsibilities & Context:

Borak Polytechnic Institute (BPI), a social business initiative and concern of Unique Group, is a reputed, industry-driven digital higher learning and technical-vocational education institution in Bangladesh, committed to promoting excellence in civil, mechanical, electrical, and computer engineering. We got affiliation from the government in 2016 to be operated at Ghoshbagh, Ashulia, Dhaka. BPI focuses on developing skilled professionals through quality education, hands-on training, and innovative learning approaches to empower students and contribute to national development goals. We are working with MoE, DTE, and BTEB as partners to uphold the vision and mission of the TVET program of the country. As part of its ongoing commitment to academic and administrative excellence, the Institute is seeking dedicated, honest, and visionary professionals for key positions, including Principal to lead academic, administrative, and strategic initiatives

  • Lead the overall administration, management, and strategic direction of the Institute, ensuring adherence to institutional policies and standards.

  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to ensure student admissions, strengthen enrollment, and ensure maximum intake in alignment with available seat capacity.

  • Plan, implement, and oversee the curriculum, syllabus, teaching methodologies, and evaluation systems in alignment with academic guidelines.

  • Coordinate and liaise with government and non-government offices, registration authorities, and other educational institutions.

  • Provide guidance and strategic advice to the Internal Management Committee (IMC) and Management Committee (MC) of the Board.

  • Support and collaborate with HR, Administration, Accounts & Finance, Audit, Procurement, IT, and Engineering departments at the head office.

  • Prepare annual budgets.

  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance student admissions, strengthen enrollment, and ensure maximum intake in alignment with available seat capacity.

  • Ensure the delivery of a high-standard education system in line with institutional expectations and academic guidelines.

  • Promote student discipline, engagement, and adherence to campus rules and classroom norms.

  • Oversee the maintenance, safety, and overall management of campus premises.

  • Encourage and organize sports, extracurricular, and co-curricular activities to foster holistic student development.

  • Promote industry-institution and institution-institution collaborations for academic and professional development.

  • Foster a collaborative, student-centered, and innovative learning environment

  • Supervise registers, records, lesson plans, and other academic documentation.

  • Counsel students and parents on academic and professional development.

  • Organize programs such as science fairs, cultural events, orientation programs, and debates.

  • Conduct training sessions and create succession plans for BPI and other departments.

  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational sustainability, academic performance, and student success.

  • Gather feedback from students, faculty, and stakeholders to inform strategic planning and continuous improvement.

  • Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the management.
