Summary: Bangladesh Association for Community Education (BACE) a Non-Governmental and Non-Profit making voluntary organization was established in 1977 by a group of distinguished individuals concerned with education and human resource development to the disadvantaged people in Bangladesh. Currently BACE is also working in the Health Education Sector. Recently, BACE has established Sharifa Huq-BACE Nursing Institute with the aim of maintaining international standard nurses in Bangladesh by providing quality nursing education at Sonargaon Upazila of Narayangonj District.

Job Description / Responsibility

• You will work as fulltime Principal of Sharifa Huq-BACE Nursing Institute and stay in the institute campus with free single accommodation.
• Ability to manage students, Instructors and others supports staff independently.
• Must have the ability to independently prepare reports on a computer in Bengali and English and manage emails.
• Ensure the necessary steps to take student admission for the Institute against allocated seats as per Bangladesh Nursing and Midwifery Council (BNMC) policy and regulation.
• You will run all the activities of the Nursing Institute as per government policy, rules and regulations.
• Ensure and monitor the teaching/learning process of the Nursing Institute.
• Ensure quality education and completing courses according to the curriculum prescribed by the Nursing Department & BNMC.
• Maintain close liaison with government/non-government officials, local elite, doctors, guest teachers, nurses and community people.
• Ensure internship and hospital placement in due time and maintain close liaison with different hospitals/clinics for employment of the graduate students.
• To improve the Nursing Institute, you will formulate and implement strategic action plans in consultation with the higher authority.
• You will prepare monthly, half-yearly and yearly progress reports and submit to the higher authority in duly manner.
• To take necessary measures to maintain the safety and discipline of all students who are staying in the hostel.
• You will supervise and oversee the working performance of the staff who are working under you, as well as ensure their accountability.
