পদের উদ্দেশ্য

Premium Sweets-এর products শুধু আমাদের নিজস্ব outlet-এ নয়—Dhaka এবং পর্যায়ক্রমে বাংলাদেশের প্রধান শহরের Supermarket, Premium Grocery, Modern Trade, Wholesale ও Distribution Channel-এর মাধ্যমে customer-এর কাছে পৌঁছে দেওয়া এই পদের মূল উদ্দেশ্য। তবে এটি শুধু distributor appoint করা বা existing product-এর order নেওয়ার job নয়। আমরা এমন একজন experienced FMCG/Food professional চাই যিনি market থেকে intelligence সংগ্রহ করে আমাদের বুঝতে সাহায্য করবেন— কোন product, কোন pack, কোন size, কোন price এবং কোন channel-এ বিক্রি হবে। তারপর সেই opportunity-কে revenue-তে convert করবেন।

Market Research হবে আপনার Job-এর গুরুত্বপূর্ণ অংশ নিয়মিত market visit করে জানতে হবে—

• কোন category grow করছে?

• কোন product দ্রুত বিক্রি হচ্ছে?

• competitor কে এবং তাদের SKU কী?

• pack size কত, retail price কত, trade margin কত, এবং promotional offer কী?

• shelf position কোথায় এবং packaging দেখতে কেমন?

• consumer কী complain করছে?

• কোন price-point underserved এবং কোন নতুন product-এর opportunity আছে?

Competitor product কিনে, compare করে, retailer/buyer-এর feedback নিয়ে এবং sales data দেখে thoughtful recommendation দিতে হবে।

Product Development-এ আপনার ভূমিকা

আপনি Production বা R&D Manager নন। কিন্তু market-এর representative হিসেবে আপনাকে Management-কে বলতে হবে: “Market-এর জন্য আমাদের কী তৈরি করা উচিত?”

আপনি recommendation দিতে পারেন:

• নতুন SKU, নতুন flavour, নতুন packaged food, এবং Frozen product

• Product reformulation, Portion change, Pack-size change, এবং Packaging redesign

• Single-serve / Family Pack, Multipack, Retail-ready packaging, Gift pack, Value pack, এবং Premium pack

• Price repositioning এবং Promotional pack

প্রয়োজন অনুযায়ী Culinary/R&D, Packaging, Production, Supply Chain, Marketing ও Finance Team-এর সঙ্গে কাজ করে recommendation-কে commercially viable product-এ convert করবেন।

Retail & Distribution Development

• Major grocery chains-এর Buyer/Procurement Team-এর সঙ্গে relationship গড়ে তোলা

• New product listing, Commercial negotiation, Trade terms, Shelf placement, Promotional planning, এবং New-product launch

• Distributor/Dealer appointment, Geographic expansion, এবং Channel-specific sales planning

• Stock and replenishment monitoring, Returns/expiry control, Sales forecasting, Collection follow-up, এবং Distributor performance review

Educational Qualification

• Minimum BBA / Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or relevant discipline from a reputed university.

• MBA, বিশেষ করে Marketing-এ, preferred।

• Strong analytical, numerical, presentation এবং reporting capability থাকা জরুরি।

Required Experience

Preferably 5–8 years of directly relevant experience, বিশেষভাবে অগ্রাধিকার পাবেন যারা কাজ করেছেন:

• FMCG / Packaged Food / Frozen Food

• Food & Beverage / Modern Trade

• Supermarket / Grocery Chains / Wholesale

• Distribution / Key Account Management

(Frozen অথবা packaged food-এর practical experience বিশেষ advantage হবে।)

Candidate-এর hands-on experience থাকা উচিত:

• Modern Trade listing & Key-account negotiation

• Distributor development & Sales target achievement

• Trade margin understanding & Promotional planning

• Market research & Competitor analysis

• Product launch, Sales forecasting, এবং Retail execution
