Job Responsibilities:
∎ Plans the work load and capacity of the department which he is responsible for.
∎ Including the determination of the personnel to use the existing devices, makes job sharing.
∎ Checks the personnel 's competence situation periodically.
∎ Checks test devices and test personnel's performance.
∎ Motivates the team members to undertake their responsibilities.
∎ Checks whether the works are completed within the planned period with requested quality and aimed quality and costs in compliance with procedures, and evaluates and checks work outputs and performance reports. Inform the delays and non-compliances which it found to the persons in charge and claims them to execute corrective and preventive actions.
∎ Informs the department personnel about laboratory working principles, laboratory purpose and targets and about the applicable quality system and important subjects.
∎ In order to reach laboratory targets or in order to solve a problem, after making necessary researches, determines alternative solution objectives and chose the appropriate one among them.
∎ When encounters problems which obstruct the reach to targets and is not able to solve them alone, it determines the expert or managers who can solve the problems without delay and follows up the solution.
∎ Examines and determines about how a decision to be given for its department or an amendment to be made shall affect other processes systems, costs, delivery dates besides work processes.
∎ In necessary cases, (lack of personnel, trial works etc.) makes the tests which he is responsible for.
∎ Provides the department which he is responsible for to operate in compliance with the management system and ISO 17025 rules.
∎ Makes necessary works for corrective/ preventive and improving actions for its department, it completes them and applies. Informs the relevant department personnel related to actions and results.
∎ Prepares instructions and procedures regarding standard work, method and tests and transmit them into quality department. Provides the instructions and procedures to be applied and to be kept properly and provides the targets to be achieved. Informs the department personnel about the changes happened in document system or processes and provides the changes to be applied.
∎ Creates a sharing work environment between its own team and other teams based on honesty, openness, trust and cooperation. Supports the solidarity between teams.
∎ Displays a peacemaker attitude for the disputes and transmits the problems which remain unsolved to the top management.
∎ Receives the opinions of the team members in processes regarding taking important decisions, shares the decisions taken and changes made with its own team member in time and along with its justifications. Provides the decisions and amendments to be adopted.
∎ Executes the works made for avoiding errors and failures determined in the project. Provides the attendance of the relevant section personnel and contributes to the determination and elimination of the reasons which create errors and failures.
∎ When faces up doubtful test results, it provides the tests to be repeated.
∎ In the department he is responsible, provides all test methods which are applicable and recently developed and correction works validation) to be applied.
∎ Executes test method development works and report them in compliance with quality system.
∎ Checks the test results and approves them prior to reporting in compliance with relevant test standards, procedures and ISO 17025 necessities.
∎ Makes the maintenance, repair, calibration and performance tests of the department and checks them. Informs all kinds of changes and non-compliance to quality department.
∎ Follows up all material stock regarding its department and accomplishes the order according to relevant purchase procedure.
∎ Checks the compliance of the materials purchased, makes them to be checked, controls and approves.
∎ Determines the personnel training necessity for the department, provides management system and technical trainings. Provides its subordinates to attend to training programs.
∎ Plans the orientation process of the new personnel who attended the department together quality department, determines the technical training required to be given to the personnel and provides them to acquire necessary information and skills within the orientation process.
∎ Participates into comparison and competence tests which are applied in his department, provides the tests to be applied and follows up the results.
∎ Provides continuous improvement and supports it.
∎ Prior to management' s revision meeting, reports annual activities regarding its department, position of the targets and next year' s objectives.
∎ Provides the department works to be executed in accordance with environment, health, security, Occupational Health and Safety, rules, procedure and regulations, and provides proper personal protective equipment to be used. Takes measures against the risks which may be faced up.
∎ Separate, classify and store the recycle materials.
∎ Provides the separation of hazardous wastes from other materials in line with hazardous and dangerous wastes and provide them to be stored temporarily by taking measures within the scope of Occupational Health and Safety rules.
∎ Provides the safe storage of flammable and combustive materials.
∎ Responsible for the fulfillment and finalization of the results, for keeping confidential all kinds of information belonging to the company and customers which have been delivered to him,
∎ Responsible for protection of company's physical assets.
∎ To provide the teams' awareness on company motivation, vision, values and management principles specified in the company constitution, to be adopted by them, to comply with them. He also complies with values and principles stated in company constitution.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 40 years
∎ At least graduate from textile department of a vocational high school
∎ Minimum work experience in similar position
∎ ISO 17025 Knowledge
∎ Environment, health, security, Occupational Health and Safety rule, procedure and regulation information.
