Experience:
Mandatory: Must hold a valid A-Grade Registration Certificate from the Pharmacy Council of Bangladesh.
At least 3 years of active experience as a registered pharmacist in a renowned Model Pharmacy, retail chain, or corporate hospital pharmacy.
Strong command over pharmacological knowledge, generic-to-brand mapping, and drug interaction risks.
High proficiency in ERP software and basic computer applications (MS Office).
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills in both Bangla and English. Ability to handle stressful situations and anxious patients with empathy.
Must be willing to work in rotating shifts (including evening/night shifts if required).
We are seeking highly qualified and registered A-Grade Pharmacists for our upcoming, state-of-the-art Model Pharmacy in Bogura. As per the DGDA guidelines for Model Pharmacies in Bangladesh, the ideal candidate will ensure rational use of drugs, maintain strict regulatory compliance, and provide top-tier patient counseling and pharmaceutical care.
Job Responsibilities:
Prescription Evaluation & Dispensing: Review, validate, and dispense prescribed medications to both outpatients and walk-in clients accurately, ensuring zero dispensing errors.
Patient Counseling: Provide professional counseling to patients regarding drug dosage, side effects, dietary restrictions, and proper storage conditions.
Inventory & Cold Chain Management: Maintain strict supervision over pharmacy inventory. Ensure precise tracking of look-alike/sound-alike (LASA) medications, high-alert drugs, narcotics, and near-expiry stocks. Oversee strict temperature controls for cold-chain biologicals/vaccines.
Software Management: Efficiently manage online indenting, billing, and inventory tracking using the Software. Ensure flawless entry of Good Receive Notes (GRN), including batch numbers, expiry dates, and pack sizes.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the pharmacy operates in absolute compliance with the Directorate General of Drug Administration (DGDA) regulations, Narcotics Control Acts, and World Health Organization (WHO) Good Pharmacy Practices (GPP).
Procurement & Vendor Relations: Maintain professional liaison with pharmaceutical representatives and suppliers to ensure a steady supply of authentic medicines.
Financial Reporting: Oversee daily sales reconciliations, cash statement preparation, and shift handovers with absolute transparency.
