∎ Job Summary: You will support the Finance department`s management of accounting systems, policies and procedures in compliance with CRS` established accounting standards, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), donors` rules and regulations, and legal requirements to support high-quality programs serving the poor and vulnerable. As part of an experienced finance team you will help coordinate daily financial activities through preparation and delivery of financial services. Your position will be focused on supporting partners to ensure strong internal controls are in place and financial management systems are in compliance with CRS partnership principles and policies.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Review and supporting documentation of all financial transactions (including payroll) to ensure all required documents are accurate, complete and entered into the Oracle system for necessary approvals.
∎ Help ensure maintenance of all data required for processing financial transactions for assigned accounts in Oracle financial accounting package.
∎ Lead regular financial monitoring of partner financial forecasting, advances, reporting, and expenses.
∎ Support Finance Manager to evaluate the subrecipient financial management processes in accordance with policy.
∎ Help strengthen capacity of partner in financial accounting and transactions. Help share information with subrecipients and staff on financial accounting policies and procedural compliance issues.
∎ Prepare delegated financial reports, as needed.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum of two years accounting experience, preferably with an international or local NGO, or a financial/banking institution is required.
∎ Required Languages - Professional fluency in written and spoken English.
∎ Travel - Must be willing and able to travel up to 50% to project field sites.
∎ Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
∎ Excellent analytical skills with ability to detect and report inconsistencies
∎ Excellent organizational skills with great attention to detail
∎ Ethical conduct in accordance with recognized professional and organizational codes of ethics
∎ Proactive, resourceful, solutions oriented and results-oriented
∎ Ability to work collaboratively
∎ Preferred Qualifications:
∎ Candidates with experience working with partners, including mentoring, coaching and leading capacity strengthening is required.
∎ Familiarity with the relevant USAID and other public donors' regulations a plus.
∎ Proficient in Excel and experience with Word and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Oracle financial accounting package or similar financial reporting software a plus.
∎ Candidates with gender and diversity is a plus, including female, persons from marginalized groups; persons with disability; and, origin from geographically marginalized location.
