JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES: Reporting to Portfolio Lead/ Portfolio Manager, the Partnership Associate (PA), working as an individual contributor, shall function as a force-multiplier and key resource to provide data-driven insights and seamless coordination of multiple priorities within the region’s business lines. S/he shall be responsible for supporting the business line’s objectives and consistent delivery to account or portfolio priorities via one or more of the following focus areas: research, analysis, business, and/or account administration. Key Responsibilities: Job Specific Accountabilities:(A) Account Operations Support and Analysis(1) Provide project coordination and day-to-day support within the region’s business line operations, ranging from managing internal communications, events, and meetings relevant to the effective functioning of the business lines;(2) Coordinate comprehensive analysis, reports and presentations of partner account plans and progress against milestones and targets, for use in partnership/business reviews, monthly operating reviews, and other senior management meetings. (B) Business Development Support(1) Support business development efforts, helping to build data-driven insights and collateral that provide a commercial perspective and strategic positioning of Water.org’s unique value to current and prospective partners;(2) Coordinate efforts between Regional Business, Insights and Award Management functions to support philanthropic revenue generation and impactful storytelling.(C) Account Management Support: Support day-to-day account management support for allocated partnerships which includes the following responsibilities:(1) Coordination of partner workplan management and updates;(2) Preparation of partner payments, agreement documentation, invoices, field monitoring planning, partner visits, etc.;(3) Creation of meeting packs, reports, or other related documentation in preparation for partner meetings;(4) Backstopping Senior/Partnership Account Managers. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES: Qualification and Experience:(1) Applicants must have bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent;(2) Minimum three years of experience of working with financial products and services in at least one of the following areas: retail, wholesale, and micro finance, micro, small and medium enterprises, and/or water and sanitation infrastructure finance/projects;(3) Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 software and related applications. Advanced proficiency with data manipulation and visualization in Excel and PowerPoint;(4) Proficient in English, both oral and written.Skills and Competencies:(1) Customer Focus: Builds strong customer relationships and delivers customer-centric solutions.(2) Optimizes Work Processes: Knows the most effective and efficient processes to get things done, with a focus on continuous improvement.(3) Communicates Effectively: Develops and delivers multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.(4) Values Differences: Recognizes the value that different perspectives and cultures bring to an organization.(5) Nimble Learning: Learns through experimentation when tackling new problems, using both successes and failures as learning fodder. 5.
