Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor degree
Job Context:
∎ Employment Status: Full-time; 6 month contract, starting from November 1, 2021, renewable based upon satisfactory performance and availability of funds.
∎ Vacancy: 02 (01 men, 01 women)
∎ Applications are invited from the candidates of Chattogram and Cox`s Bazar districts.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ As outreach Officer will be responsible for overseeing Child Protection activities (awareness raising, community engagement).
∎ Supervise and support activities of project facilitators and volunteers.
∎ Organize street show and radio listening groups.
∎ Liaise with community leaders, youth and boys.
∎ Provide training the young boys and organize dialogues with community men to promote awareness on GBV, Child marriage, SRHR and gender equality.
∎ Produce daily, weekly, monthly data and regular narrative reports.
∎ Perform other duties, as appropriate and requested by supervisor.
∎ Directly reported to the Project Coordinator and at the same time to M&E Officer.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 27 to 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Basic knowledge on computer operation, Excel, Spreadsheet in computer and use of web-based real time data entry software.
∎ Understanding on local language, communication language on local accent (vocabulary) with Rohingya community.
∎ Willingness to travel hard to reach areas and extra-hours of work.
∎ 3 to 4 year(s) on programs related to women empowerment, MHM, SRHR and protection.
∎ Working experience with Rohingya response will be an advantage.
∎ Sound knowledge and understanding of Child Protection and humanitarian principles.
∎ Good communication skills.
Salary: Tk. 37000 - 38000 (Monthly)
