Educational Requirements:
∎ HSC or above from recognized institute with two years’ experience as O.T. Assistant from a recognized hospital/clinic.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Overall Management:
∎ Ability to work in surgical policies and procedures are adhered to in relation to operations and correct procedures in addition with that will have to give health services by managing and treatment of patients need surgical attention in Operation Theatre Doctor/surgeon.
∎ To check & maintain Surgical patients’, register regularly.
∎ Responsible to O.T Fumigation before and after operation
∎ Responsible to manage pre-operative and post-operative patients as per instruction by surgeon & Doctor
∎ Responsible for monthly report, & requisition submission
∎ Responsible for maintaining daily and monthly stock register
∎ Any work assigned as per advice from higher authority.
∎ Technical Responsibilities:
∎ To assist the OT Nurse & technician during preparing Eye OT for surgery and camps
∎ Assist international/local Surgeon in surgery.
∎ Pre-operative/ post-operative care of the patients during surgery.
∎ Preparation of OT requisition for camps.
∎ Quality Assurances:
∎ Maintenance and autoclaving of instruments and proper maintenance of medicine and equipment
∎ Cleanliness and fumigation of OT.
∎ Knowledge about correct aseptic techniques are used at all times during operations.
∎ Client care issues:
∎ Need to show empathy to the patient
∎ Need to explain all the procedure and treatment to the patient
∎ Working environment:
∎ The own service area will be his or her own responsibility, everything related to this room will be his or her own duty and accountability to be fulfilled.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Practical experience as OT assistant from recognized Hospital/clinic

Salary: Negotiable
