Responsibilities & Context:
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, submit, and manage IGM (Import General Manifest) in ASYCUDA World within customs timelines
Issue Delivery Orders (DO) to importers after confirmation of charges and approvals
Coordinate daily operational activities with Customs, C&F agents, port authorities, ICDs, and shipping lines
Communicate and correspond with overseas agents, principals, and local customers regarding shipment status
Handle import documentation including B/L, invoices, packing list, arrival notices, amendment requests, etc.
Monitor vessel arrival schedules, container discharge status, and delivery timelines
Follow up with customs for manifest correction, amendment, or queries if required
Maintain proper records of operational files, DO registers, and shipment documents
Support billing team by providing accurate operational data for invoicing
Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Customs rules, port regulations, and company SOPs
Assist management in day-to-day operational reporting and shipment tracking
