• Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Supply Chain Management

Sector Expertise:·        

Knowledge of local and foreign procurement, sourcing, vendor management, and logistics.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Procurement (Local & Foreign)

• Source of materials from local and international suppliers.

• Identify and develop new suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, quality and reliable supply.

• Collect quotations, prepare Comparative Statements (CS), and issue Purchase Orders (POs).

• Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules and quality requirements.

• Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.

• Coordinate with the warehouse for material receiving and GRN.

• Maintain supplier databases and evaluate supplier performance.

• Monitor market prices and identify cost-saving opportunities.

• Maintain proper procurement records and documentation

Distribution

• Coordinate with the warehouse for timely delivery of materials.

• Arrange transportation and monitor dispatch activities.

• Ensure proper delivery documents (Delivery Challan, Gate Pass, etc.).

• Coordinate with project and sales teams for delivery schedules.

• Maintain distribution and delivery records.

Company, in the process of strengthening the procurement and logistics functions, wants to give adequate focus, especially on availability of products. The incumbent will be responsible for managing the procurement process and negotiating contracts to ensure the organization's commercial interests are protected. He will collaborate with various stakeholders to source goods and services evaluate vendors, negotiate terms, and delivery of the materials on time.
